Mac Miller’s estate has just released Ballonerism

Next to Circles, this is his second posthumous album to be released. The difference being that while this project was on the Internet back in 2013, it never actually saw the light of day as a full mainstream release on streaming services. The album contains 14 songs, with a special appearance from SZA as the lone feature.

There’s also news that an animated film will be accompanied with the album’s release, as the release date for the film will be announced at a later date:

Rumors are going around that it is confirmed that Kendrick Lamar will perform Not Like Us at this years halftime show for Super Bowl LIX tonight. He just came off of making history winning five Grammys for the song, as it’s now the first ever diss track to win Record and Song of the Year.

Either way, this could be huge. It’s not every day you hear someone like Kendrick possibly calling Drake a kid diddler, while potentially bringing the NFL a lawsuit in the process.

Must listens:
Wu tang 7 chambers album
Mobb deep hell on earth album
Bone thugs n harmony art of war album
Waka Flocka-Flockaveli (almost every song on it is a banger)
Three six mafia- Last 2 walk (amazing album)
Anything by project pat or bun b

Anybody excited for I Am Music? Its all my nephew has been talking about for the past month, and while I have mixed opinions on Playboi Carti, I think there is some method to the madness. I like the way he switches between voices and almost sounds like a feature on his own song. Also "2024" has a pretty surprising sample, if you were into Indie-Electronica circa 2013-16.

Been way too long for that, but I liked Evil Jordans and Backrooms. Also Nettspend better.

The new Carti album is kind of mid. However, I can cut it some slack because there’s a decent chance that the main producer F1lthy lurks here.

I've been thinking a lot lately about how Chamillionaire never got the credit he deserved.

Ye/Kanye West just released a preview of unfinished and (slightly) finished versions of songs that will be on his upcoming BULLY album:

He recently stated on X/Twitter that he will be reworking on the album getting rid of the A.I. elements of his voice since he started to have second thoughts on releasing it with the help of A.I. in question.

As for the video, it has over 3+ million views after being released for only a day.

Do any of you have good Jazz Hop recommendations? Just looking for new stuff in general.

I'm totally out of the loop for hip-hop, but off the top of my head, here's my 5 favorites

Wu-Tang Clan - 36 Chambers
Main Source - Breaking Atoms
De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising
The Constructus Corporation - The Ziggurat
Genius/GZA - Liquid Swords

The most recent of those came out in 2003 lol. I've got catching up to do.
