Forget Israel, you made a general statement about lobbying. The impropriety begins when even considering the interests of those outside of your constituency over those within your constituency.

Taxation without representation is casual, unjust but not necessarily corruption. Paying someone who is supposed to represent a constituency to act in this casual and unjust way against their constituency IS corruption.


And I'll point out specific to Israel, while the left wing is indeed in shambles, possibly the most common ground among factions is taking the stick to Israel. I am sure that's not the will of the people, though, that's just nasty Qatar meddling in politics...through money.

The part of the Article I cited that is not paywalled clearly states the total funding is $126.9 million. But, it appears the article I cited combined AIPAC's direct funding, with one of it's own subsidary Superpacs called the United Democracy Project.

Your website shows the breakdown to be $61,373,653 for the United Democracy Project, and $57,417,825 from AIPAC directly.

Making the total somewhere around $118 million.
