Genuine question I'm looking for a game to waste my time playing - I've avoided a lot of games because they are all pozzed with trannie flags, pozzed and full of retardation. I just want to play a game which does not pander to any "audience" and is actually fun and not full of agendas and far-left/right ideologies.

Have you played Skyrim yet? It's an old game, but beautiful with mods, the game Avowed wanted to be. The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece everyone should play at least once.

Found out a neat trick while trying out weapons. if you attack with a dagger and then a main weapon (swords, Maces etc), it will count the attack speed as it was a dagger. the enemy dont even have time to react when i beat them to death.

That is an awesome bug.

I have continued the third area and part of the story. The pink wizard furry has joined my party and since she's the only person in the entire game world that can dispel an illusion I have begrudgingly allowed her to follow me and blue man around. Why can't I dispel illusions? I'm a fucking wizard. I should be able to do whatever magic I want god damn it. We even freed an archmage who you can side with at the end of the area and the bitch asks Yatzli to be her apprentice and not ME. I'm obviously a more powerful wizard. Bitch is probably scared of me, as she should be. You can get invited to join the circle of archmages in Pillars 2 by the way.

On the plus side, Yatzli is not as annoying as I thought she would be. Having a little back and forth from time to time about magic is cool, then she asked me something about getting tied up by a lover and I ended our conversation. It was more disgust than annoyance. It helps that she's very effective in combat, but it also makes me raise an eyebrow.

Speaking of talking to NPCs, the dialog just makes me want to skip it most of the time. I don't care about anyone's background unless there's a side quest to get me exp, which I can never get enough of because there's no enemy level scaling (which I approve of). All of it just goes so slow and takes time to even skip. I don't know if it's a loading issue or if the VAs were instructed to speak slowly or what, but I get really impatient when I have to talk to someone.

The area is also really well done, they didn't skimp on making good environments. Normally I'd expect the environments to drop off but it looks like they worked hard on the areas so far. The story is also pretty interesting but again, it almost requires that you've played Pillars 1 and 2 to appreciate a lot of it. I had a theory about who's godlike I was but I think I'm wrong now. I thought Llengrath achieved apotheosis and went insane in the process, I also thought that I might be one of Llengrath's incarnations but lost all my memory spores to godhood. It's less exciting than that.

Had a friend ask me how I can march though mediocre slogs like this, I didn't have an answer for him.

Avowed flopped because it was marketed terribly, grifters one way or another didn't do jack shit. After its reveal it got barely any exposure and most people I know who like RPGs didn't even know it was coming out. The recent Monster Hunter also sold complete gangbusters so muh eggs is complete cope.
