Why the same ugly actresses seem to be in everything? - Debra Wilson, Zendaya and probably others

I'm sure it's some woke bullshit about "changing beauty standards", or like everything else it's another shield to hide behind from criticism (same reason they race-swap characters to call people racists for not liking the new version, or add gay/tranny shit to call people homo/transphobic). But the funnier version in my head is that it's all the directors trying to protect their asses and distract people after all the #metoo bullshit and Weinstein taking the fall. I'd love them to flat out say shit in interviews like "Look how ugly she is, clearly she would never get this role from sleeping with me, she is just SUPER talented" while their eyes shift around like the South Park episode about sex addiction when all the men are pretending they don't understand why famous men cheat.
l8, but this is how I felt about "Black Ariel".
Halle Bailey has a great voice and would have made an excellent new animated princess. Instead, Disney shat out a steaming pile of shit and trotted the girl out, telling anyone with any complaint (no matter how valid) they were just racist poo-heads.

I think wytepipo look for "ethnic" actors and actresses that conform to some internal ideal of that ethnicity.

Asian actors without narrow eyes or prominent epicanthal folds are not "Asian" enough.

Same thing with Black actors.

They do this with the Latinx as well, but they don't understand colorism which has some funny results.

No love for sheboons but saying this is ugly is obviously absurd.
The problem is her beauty depends on glam makeup.

When you have a role like in Dune where you can't get away with it she looks quite bad.

Zendaya Stormer looked fine in the first part of Dune, but on the second movie they clearly butch'd her up.

Asian women and men do like the Eurasian look but Devon Aoki is a bad example. She looks like an alien like Anya Taylor Joy.
You just had to remind me that for the first few years of the 00s, the only Designated Asian Woman in hollywood had to be Devon Aoki.

"European" doesn't automatically mean white either, keep trying.
The psyop of people trying to make southern Europeans le heckin POCs will never work, only retarded Americans ever called them non-white and even then it was always a minority. Spaniards are white, Italians are white, and yes, sadly, even Greeks are white.

movies are actually a betting market for ultra wealthy people. Movies are typically too expensive for any one person to bankroll on their own, writers/directors have to get it from someone else. Those who invest in movies want to feel confident that they're going to get a return on investment. Many people who are willing to invest in movies will only do so if a big name is attached, and even happier if the director is also famous. Some names are a good bet because people will absolutely see any piece of garbage as long as that person is in it (adam sandler movies are a good example from a long time ago). getting into the industry initially is a matter of luck, connections, and willingness to be quiet about the molestation/prostitution that occurs.
