and a small summer camp for vacation that's worth probably north of a million alone.
This has come up a few times because Bernie insists on using a very regional term, in a way that is intentionally deceptive on his part.

The term "camp" is used in Upstate New York and Vermont to refer to any non-primary residence, usually in the area of Lake Champlain. A modest log cabin, hewn from pines felled on the lot would be "a camp," but Bernie's 4 bedroom, multiple out-building compound, with 500+feet of waterfront featuring a massive engineered retaining wall at the waterline, would also be locally termed "a camp."

I'm also pretty skeptical of the supposed $570k price tag that Bernie paid in 2016. It seems low by at least 30% for the market at that time.

I want to add something as well. Plant-based meats and soy products should be excised from SNAP/EBT. That's a trend with no consistent, proven health benefits.
Actually is theorized that soy product in big quantity is bad for male and female health.
Soy is unique in that it contains a high concentration of isoflavones, a type of plant estrogen (phytoestrogen) that is similar in function to human estrogen but with much weaker effects. Soy isoflavones can bind to estrogen receptors in the body and cause either weak estrogenic or anti-estrogenic activity.

I'll say it soy make people gay lmfao.

Coca-Cola themselves owns about 500 brands, with them having a marginal market share of soft drinks of around 46%. That's incredible.
It's a lot less than it used to be before Pepsi came into their own, but it's still a ludicrous, unthinkably-large amount of money for a beverage company to be able to use to influence the government.

coke zero is considered equivalent to a hydration drink in the EU due to high levels of potassium and shit, it gets a Nutriscore of B

View attachment 7127817

Whole milk gets a Nutriscore of C and I've seen examples of milk being ranked a D.

Nutriscore cries about misrepresentation here:

If people really have problems with potassium, all they need is 1/2 tsp of apple a day Horse electrolytes mixed in 32oz of water three times a week. Five pound bucket will run you about $30 on Amazon.

We already reject food stamps for alcohol. Just add soda to the list and be done with it. If something else is about to get put on the list, we can discuss the merits of that product's exclusion when that time comes.
I mean, yeah, I'm all for it. I just want to use the moment to get people talking about what we eat in general.

I could go on a screed about how awful cereal in general is for you, how there's no such thing as a real, 'healthy' cereal. I think cereal and soda are two of the biggest examples of corporate meddling within government.

I said it earlier in the thread, but I've never once had to be sold on spinach or carrots.
Homemade with barley
The fiber in barley might lower cholesterol, blood sugar, and insulin levels. It also seems to slow stomach emptying which could keep blood sugar stable and help to control appetite. People use barley for heart disease and high cholesterol.
...or rice ...
You make them puff ..it easy...with a dash of honey ....it like sugar crips but less deadly.

"Fight Oligarchy" they are never going to realize how much money Bernie has are they

Bernie supports the existence the state of Israel and even supported a resolution recently that was sponsored by Lindsey Graham.

And the man basically also supports funding Neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

These issues are very divisive to the people that he is trying to pander to.

I have a long-standing joke/theory that Americanized Chinese food is as unhealthy as it is to make Americans fat and lazy.
What they actually eat looks nothing like the stuff we have.
The man with joint problem and heart disease won't revolt like the man with high cardio tolerance and muscle density.

Whatever beverage you buy from the store, chances are it's Coca-Cola or Pepsi afflicted. I do feel that they get their top dollar FROM soft drinks. I think Coca-Cola is even partnered with McDonald's for their fountain drinks.

From the earlier tweets, it appears that some people are PAID to go against the EBT/SNAP soda restrictions as it could cut into Big Soda's bottom line.

"The average SNAP (food stamp) benefit per person is estimated to be around $187 per month" according to google.

Just checked the Walmart website. Two pounds of frozen corn/peas/mixed veggies? $2.50. 5-6 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts? $12. A pound of ground beef? $5. 10 pounds of russet potatoes? $5. 18 large white eggs for $7, and a package of bacon for $5. A 3 pound bag of apples for $4. I even set my preferred store to one in NYC, just in case the prices were higher in the city.

There's literally no reason not to restrict food stamps to real food. Not only is it cheaper, but it's healthier, and it supports our nation's farmers.
Food deserts, bodega cats, something something. And in closing, RACIST.

I'm tired of hearing about the Poors.

Total Poor Death.

WTF is even poor?

Since I don't see half naked starving niggers begging for food on the sidewalks on a regular basis?

Like working poor or homeless poor or poor people who maxed out credit cards buying shit from shitmart?

I'm getting tired of the poor poor talk.

Feels like a grift or neverending charade like Aid to Israel or reparations for baboons.
The bottom quintile you will always have with you.
