it's even worse, Karl's friend/collaborator DarkViperAU was also named in the suicide note and Karl deliberately represented that Billy was the sole cause of the suicide when Apollo himself names four separate compounding factors for doing it.
Because he's actually in the right here, Karl was twisting a story knowing full well people close to him also contributed towards Apollo offing himself.

He's probably fine. The last lawsuit against a youtuber got thrown out because DCS has too many employees to sue for defamation in Australia.
The regular show lawsuit happened in America where you can say basically anything you want and be fine. Judges also imagined into existence that public figures have to show a higher burden of proof to sue someone for defamation. On the other hand, offending people is basically illegal in Australia, and an outright criminal act in Germany. His first and last mistake is being born in that prison island.
He had a similar attitude toward Billy as Rekieta had toward Montagraph, basically if someone is worthy of a certain threshold amount of criticism and ridicule you basically have carte blanche to say whatever you want about them. And also that if someone's past lawsuits have been failures that somehow means that it's impossible for them to file a successful lawsuit against you.
