@SoleniyKraut anyone can make a CP inspired by Plutonia, TNT Evilution, or any other popular community release of the past. You can make something called TNT Retribution, and no one on Troonworld is going to raise an eyebrow. For the same reason, i don't really agree that there are 7+ Plutonias out there. They're just inspirations that don't dare to consider themselves as sequels. For example, "Plutonia: Revisited" is fine. You can choose any random name for a Plutonia or Memento Mori inspired project, for example, something cliché like Memento Mori: Reloaded...
Now go ahead and try to make Plutonia 3, Memento Mori 3, Alien Vendetta 2, or Requem 2 and see what happens. The troops will immediately jump on you, even though, technically, these are not intellectual properties, and as free downloadable wads you should be free to use their names if you want to. And it's not even disrespecting the hard work of some prominent mapper... you're not making Scythe 3 or Valiant 2, you're making a sequel to a classic community projects (minus the original Plutonia), that belong to the whole community, not to a bunch of megalomaniacal fags. Yet they still think they have the right to put a veto to these projects, and if you try to make them, they will force you to change the name and ban you if you refuse. At the same time, the KKKlub gets a free pass to do whatever they want, which is why Plutonia 2 rubs me the wrong way, even though i like a lot of the maps in that wad. If the KKKlub can do Plutonia 2, why shouldn't you and me be allowed to gather mappers and make Requiem 2 or Memento Mori 3? That's my point. So if you don't give a shit about a Troonworld ban, you can make anything you want and the troons can't stop you. But if you do make something, you have to make sure it's of good quality, so they can't easily disregard it and mock it as a sloppy troll project. If it's actually a good CP that gains some positive attention, the fags will seethe, badly.
