I agree to an extent. She's similar to Lisa in The Simpsons. She was okay in the first few seasons as a straight man/smart foil. After than every episode focusing on her is a immediate skip on rewatch, she became an annoying know-it-all that was also simultaneously the reason for the episode happening.

Except for the episode where she made an art sculpture out of beer cans or something and got roped into being a part of an art exhibit for retards, I think that came later in the show's run and it made me laugh pretty hard.
Main difference is that Peggy often was the butt of the joke or got her comeuppance a lot. Lisa is just always treated as the smartest, most talented, always right with no irony, even in episodes when she’s clearly in the wrong or at fault.

The field trip to Mexico/accidental adbuction/trial episode was one of the best in the series, too.

I found some leaked storyboards/animatics for the King of the Hill continuation on /co/. Only about 5 minutes worth of "animation" revealed, but what we got so far is very gossip worthy.

~Bobby and Connie are dating
~Hank got a new ugly dog named Ceasar
~Kahn and Minh are all but confirmed to be divorced.
~Kahn is currently living with Bill
~Hank watches a Star Wars-like movie and gets teary-eyed by the end of it.
~In a hospital, Peggy has a realistic portrayal of a panic attack, drops an f-bomb, and starts yelling for Xanax.

I like that that the little snippet of what was shown had me chuckle a few times. Though there's definitely a feeling that some hip, young, 30-year-old millennials were writing some of these jokes. Despite a few modernisms thrown here and there, I'm happy to say the upcoming King of the Hill season is shaping up to be something worth watching.

RIP to ladybird then. Though that shouldn't be surprising given the time jump. I wonder if hank still has the truck and whether he finally has the top spot at strickland. Hank fending off the advances of the latest generation of skanky tank wipes would be a nice touch

That said kahn being stuck living with bill and sharing the same bathroom must be his own personal hell. Hopefully this situation didn't come about as a result of dale dying and nancy cracking up and becoming a dyke, running off to austin with minh as a result

I wonder if all these years later john redcorn will end up going from the ladies man he was originally to an obese, bald old alcoholic who shits around on the reserve creeping out the ladies and passing out in the street, while whining about his failed career as a musician

I'm not sure I want to know what kind of degenerate gilbert has turned into. If bill makes an offhand comment to him being busted by chris hansen while dressed like a furry after trying to groom somebody in discord I won't be surprised

Actually really happy to see Bobby and Connie back together. Also Bobby is a CHAD now holy shit. You dog, you! Connie grew up to be real pretty.

Minh still lives in their old house. Wouldn't be surprised if there's an episode of them getting back together.

Disney is copyright striking anyone who even talks about this so it leads me to believe that these leaks are true. The Peggy one comes across as funny and in character for her. I don't know how I feel about reuniting Bobby and Connie. Kahn and Minh being split up is a little weird, but I feel like Kahn being forced to live with Bill makes for some prime comedic material.

In other matters, the voice actor for John Redcorn, despite being in the revival series, wasn't invited to the upcoming reunion event.
