All hidden behind fantastic visuals, fairly engaging gameplay, legendary marketing and optics, and shitloads of coomer-bait. Everything an addled American mind needs to be satisfied.
You did pay attention to the Definitive Edition debacle, right?
If they can't make games that were fun 20 years ago run or look better today, then we're not looking at "legendary" anything here. The game would still be very incomplete when the best of Rockstar left and the company turned into an absolute DEI riddled joke. I don't have any hope if the leaks about this company are true, which granted could be exaggerated since they came from anti-woke grifters, but they unfortunately look genuine enough. I will be surprised if this is anything more than a simple standalone expansion pack for GTA 5 with fancier graphics.

but people complaining about the no gameplay trailer really show their asses. Rockstar have been doing these trailers for over 20 years now.
They also did gameplay trailers for 5 and i think they also did a showcase for the gay ass golf and submarine shit.

The game is insanely beautiful, can this really run at 30 FPS on base PS5/Xbox Series X hardware?
It will run at 24fps with dynamic resolution on while the series S will need to run it at 480p while having draw distance equivalent to the lowest setting possible on Minecraft.

On PC, 4090 required bare minimum for a stable 30fps+ experience. No poorfags allowed.

The best part is these console faggots never contribute anything back like mods or anything remotely interesting.
they contribute with the most important things of all: money.

also this trailer is a testing water and shill brigade, i couldn't find one comment about the old guard leaving and how it's joever.

I'm just preparing for the game to inevitably cost $100 at launch. The industry was creeping towards it by making $70 the standard when the 9th generation started. Nintendo is starting to accelerate by making $80 the standard on the new Switch (not at all helped by them using expensive cartridges).

GTA 6 is going to fully usher in the era of $99.99 + Sales Tax "cinematic experience" games. This game is already a guaranteed success because 95% of normies will buy it regardless of price because of how much of a cultural landmark it is. Rockstar could absolutely sell the game at $60 and still make a profit hand-over-fist within 24 hours of launch, but after seeing the greed spiral that Take Two sent GTA Online into, they're absolutely going to sell it at as high of a premium price as they can get away with.

I have no doubt that this is going to be a good/fun game (the GTA formula is time tested and proven), but I can also see companies like Sony trying to pull the same shit with the next Spider-Man game, The Last of Us 3, the next God of War, and whatever other unoptimized "cinematic experience" with realistic graphics and hollywood voice performances they can come up with.

The tiny "optimistic" part of me hopes they'll acknowledge how successful the game is guaranteed to be and sell at the "low" standard price of $70 USD, but I'm not holding my breath, there's no goddamn way Take Two will allow Grand Theft Auto VI to cost less than fucking Mario Kart: Forza For Babies Edition.

Think of it like this: you're not paying $100 for the game, you're paying $100 for the ass physics.

Don't care. Fuck Rockstar. I'm not paying $100 for what is just GTAO2. GTAO was shit to begin with and a woke company that allows literal AI slop "remasters" on to the market should not be given a cent. If you buy this game, you are a retard, and a niggerfaggot.
While everyone is waiting for 2026, I'm waiting for early 2028 when the PC version from Summer 2027 has been cracked. I'm not spending months of salary in my beautiful, broke country on moving pictures.

I'm sure you know many people that buy games just to buy them. Then the games sit there collecting dust, never to be played. Or they play them for an hour and drop them.
If companies do raise prices I think it's going to readjust peoples purchasing habits. GTA can get away with $100, but nothing else comes close.

Hear me out; I think $80-100 prices could be a good thing - long term. It's going to cut a lot of fat and I think small studios/titles (i.e. cheaper games to make and buy) will become a bigger part of the industry. I think what we will see is the opposite of your prediction; total "cinematic experience" death, as the current AAA output is unsustainable.

Wrong, consoomers get off on flaunting their new toys to people to prove they're not "poor". $100 games are a sign of prestige to them, if they won't spend it on the game they will spend it on skins in minecraft or fortnite or something either way.
Normal people, that's a different story, but consoomers? Absolutely not, they are whales and will always be viable customers no matter how much they raise the price. I do hope that AAA games raise their standard price to $90-$100 so that indies and AA can eat their lunch at a fraction of that(while being more fun on top of that).

I hope the online character creator suite would be similar to Red Dead Online. I want to create a descendant of my RDO character into the next GTA Online. If it allows wrinkles or facial imperfections, I'd be in business for the initial launch. At least until they start with their nickle and diming to skip the grind.

Okay, so it'll be more than just Vice City or Leonida (Florida.) Maybe some countryside for Gloriana (Georgia.) I hope they'd consider more than one state.
That’d be cool. Since I’m so intrigued at South Florida culture, football, and stories, i’m itching to get GTAVI if it’s good. Even willing to buy a console used so i get to play VI. If done right, a game based in South Florida will be so wild.

In which case: thank you console gamers for signing up for the Rockstar beta testing program so that alpha PC gamers can experience a more flawless game.
I hope you remembered that GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption II had horrible PC launches. I hope this would be different.
I'd love to believe that this game will be a breath of fresh, beautifully offensive air after being subjected to the incessant activism in all of media over the last decade, but there's a sad truth we have to come to terms with:
I'm hoping that missions would allow more freedom and experimentation instead of "go THIS specific way, don't venture out the imaginary play area or game over" that has plagued GTA VI and RDRII.
