"I have limited time, and limited resources."
Like everyone else on Earth, yes. Like an average adult going to work, spending time with their friends/family and trying to schedule some time for their hobbies as well? No. YanSim and it's community is all that for you, and you keep whining about it even though
you had nothing else in your life before it even started.
"Please remember that I'm not a massive company with a seven-figure budget; I'm just a dude..."
With a 5k/month Patreon, a screaming horde of adoring fans who are willing to do a big chunk of my work for me, free of charge. Uhh, let's see... ah right, the Tinybuild thing. And still no life outside of your mom's basement, so...
"I'm just a dude making an indie game, doing the best he can with the materials he has."
NO, YOU ARROGANT SLIMY DOG TURD, YOU ARE NOT.

Please, go ahead and find some other indie game developers, like the guys who made Super Meat Boy, and
bond with them a little about your woes. You might notice that you have nothing in common. There are people who have actually had to put their whole lives aside and take a huge financial and time-consuming sacrifice to make their original project a reality. Comparing yourself to other indie devs is an insult. You're the one lucky goddamn special case, but unfortunately you're also the village re.tard. And oh my God... you're doing the best you can?
You are? We know you're shit, but I definitely don't believe you're trying your gosh darn hardest even now.
"I "show" whatever is most important, and I use audio tapes or reddit/twitter posts for everything else."
And thus the game is going to be bland, one-dimensional and boring. Every shit review you get, you going to whine in the comments? "Go read my reddit/twitter you ignorant neanderthals, my game is a profound masterpiece!"
From watching that part on his channel, Alex is trying to get a star fragment that falls from the sky and disappears after a few minutes, so he is standing there on the top of the mountain waiting for it to appear. Then he gets tired of waiting and not finding the star so he starts whining.
But the best part?
IT DID FALL. As soon as Alex says "This is a waste of time!" you can see a stream of light falling in the other mountain in front of him. He didn't see it because he was screaming autistically.
The chat tried to warn him but of course he didn't reach it in time.
This is absolutely beautiful. I'm so salty I didn't get to see that!
