Another stupid page to add to his precious book of lore. It actually makes no sense. A girl with a stable home life who makes a bunch of friends but is shy about her feelings? That's certainly a recipe for sociopathic behavior. This actually sounds a little bit like Mari from Boku Wa Mari No Naka, a manga by Oshimi Shuzo, the same person who did The Flowers of Evil. If Eva read and copied part of her story I would not be surprised. He steals everything else.

As I've said before. He needs a writer. Stat! All of these anime cliches and dumb ideas might work in a parody is they were done well. But in a serious game they drag everything down around it.

i think it's interesting that he exhibits all symptoms of a temper tantrum in that 30 second clip alone. it really makes you think about how he acts when he's off camera. (though you can certainly find some of that behaviour through his "private chat" and screenshots.)

So, PULL is talking about the lycoris flowers (them being slightly poisonous someone posted) and I saw bijuu mike's thumbnail for the deadly secret behind the flowers video. I was like huh, where did I see those before? I know it's not a crime to use real life flowers in the game and everything, but Tokyo Ghoul had quite some focus on those flowers, I wouldn't be surprised if those flowers are inspiration or reference. Or maybe he was being creative since having the original game idea, call me optimistic.

Spider lilies are symbolic of death (and/or reincarnation) in Japan in the same basic way that Madonna lilies or yew trees symbolise death in many European cultures. They're also, as noted, poisonous (although I think to actually kill someone you'd have to make them eat at least one bulb, which wouldn't be easy). So presumably they tie into the lore because they represent death or a final parting or whatever, and they can be used for a heavily symbolic murder.
Of course, if Alex had done some research into them beyond Tokyo Ghoul, he would have learned that they bloom in late summer and autumn, rather than the spring (when the Sakura are blooming). This is non trivial as Spider lilies are used in Japanese Buddhist ancestor ceremonies in the autumn; it's like having daffodils blooming next to jack-o-lanterns.

This game supposedly takes place in April, as the current build has. The trees make sense I guess, but they wouldn't be blooming for the full ten weeks. Though, the only problem with April is the flowers. It's about mid-spring? It doesn't make sense.

why don't they submit screenshots of these emails instead of quoting? and it sounds like tinybuild just doesn't want to promise they will or won't do anything before a deal is hashed out, especially if eva hasn't brought the ideas up to them himself

Also, some input on his meltdown. I'm a bit :autism: myself and his behaviour at that moment resonates pretty well with an autistic meltdown. It's at the slightest thing that makes him uncomfortable and it doesn't seem like he realized it was a stupid thing for him to do.

This makes me wonder if he has these regularly irl, how many plates of tendies do you think he's thrown over them not being cooked right? If he's this obsessive and triggerable over small things, it makes you wonder how hard on the spectrum he really is. Dude can't act socially proper anyways, the streams don't make that any less evident.
