The Elder Scrolls

For anyone who may appreciate it, here is an archive of the PELINAL (ANIMATED OPERA) video. It features Pelinal Whitestrake killing a lot of things set to epic music. The creator unlisted it on Youtube, disabled the comments and it's now age restricted for some reason.
Anyone know the author's deal? I remember he had that description on an unlisted teaser saying how he was done with the series, I really want to know whats going on with him.

Apparently he hates being known as an Elder Scrolls animator because he just likes some of the lore and hates the rest of the franchise. Also hates people bothering him about when he's going to make another elder scrolls video. Has an ego and has banned patreon donators for asking questions he doesn't like.

Yeah I thought as much. He's one of those super weird artsy types, and those types tend to hate being known for that one thing and will grow to resent it if it's all they're known for. Anthony Burgess famously hated A Clockwork Orange for this very reason, among others.

Oh hey, interesting seeing AllInAll mentioned again. Like @Übertroon said mentioned it looks like he wants to distance himself even more from his Elder Scrolls work, he failed to give THLMR a proper ending most likely because he's seething that the animations about a series he "totally" doesn't care about made by a company that he doesn't like are doing astronomically better than anything else he made, so it doesn't come as a shock that he unlisted this. Oh shit I just found out that he unlisted the entire THLMR series without announcing it. Damn, any respect I had for him is dead.

Guess him noticing this comment enough to heart it doesn't mean shit. While I was disappointed in him cancelling THLMR and not barely even announcing it, this is even more retarded and petty. "Boohoo my other work is doing better than the work I totally don't care about" so fucking what? My love/hate interest in artists is mostly hate for this very reason, what a homo.

Didn't something similar happen to Steven King with his book Rage? Also call me a retard if I'm missing the point but why do people create something of their own free will and go "boohoo I created something of my own free will and could have changed it at any point but didn't and I hate it!" Motherfucker you wrote it, rewrote it, edited it, had it reviewed, and published it (insert other equivalents for other media forms. With SK's Rage it was because people kept blaming it for "inciting violence" (I wonder if that movie Rampage had a similar problem) by retards (which he caved to and even wrote "Guns" and called for gun owners to ban assault weapons), for other writers it was because publishers were fucking them over, but for people who makes works with no real issue regarding changing it to make it "better" to you but don't and just complain about it, just rope yourselves.

I don't know about King, I think his views just changed and now he feels ashamed or embarrassed about something he made when he was younger. As for why Burgess hates A Clockwork Orange I think it's for three reasons:
  1. He hated how the editors excised the original ending.
  2. It's the only thing anyone ever talks about when they talk about him. Do you know any other works by Anthony Burgess?
  3. He feels it's inferior to his later work and might be a little embarrassed by it.
As for what I think, I get it. Imagine being an author. You love the craft, you have things to say, and you have a magnum opus in your heart that you want to share with the world. But your magnum opus doesn't pay the bills, so you make some shitty pulp novella to make ends meet. You don't think about it, you just kind of shit it out, maybe treat it as practice for the big piece you've always dreamed of creating.
Years later, you finally do it. All your hard work has finally culminated in that novel you had in your mind back when you were first starting out. Only nobody reads it. They only like you for the shitty dime store novella you wrote to pay the bills. There's even a movie adaptation that everbody loves, which draws even more attention to the shitty pulp novella.
This is more of an illustrative story; I don't know if this is what happened with Anthony Burgess or not, but I think it helps to understand his mindset. Something of yours which you consider to be a real personal achievement or work of art is passed over for some trash you churned out when money was tight. I'd be pissed too.

auteur shit.
in short: faggotry.
the other post tells precisely what's with the faggotry of it, i ain't going to say what he already says it but it's to be expected from artfaggots, whether they will own it, be gaytarded or autistic about it is up to them.

I don't think it's necessarily faggoty to be upset when the thing you didn't put any effort into is more beloved than the thing you put tons of effort into. I think it's faggoty to be a faggot about it, i.e. AllinAll delisting his Elder Scrolls videos because it's what he's most popular for and it takes attention away from his other videos. Burgess I don't think ever fucked with A Clockwork Orange except to add the original ending back in years later when he had more clout.

allin was the focus on the convo because he has specifically shown to hate what he did in the most gaytarded way because he felt his other projects were affected by it.
the clockwork orange shit is a matter of manning up in a way, yeah sure you got buttfucked by retards so what you will do? cope? sneed? dilate? or just move on and cash your checks?
also the being recognized from one thing isn't exclusive to authors, it's why the saying one trick pony exist.

Well I tried on discord and they're useless so maybe somebody here can help

Does anybody know how to get an "aes key" for oblivion remastered? I'm trying to port the armors, found the original nifs only to realize, they're completely unchanged, the ingame armors are actually new assets in uasset format and are encrypted so I have no way to actually get the model and convert it in blender to put in nifscope.

Fiddling around with unreal for the little time I have really makes you appreciate how...made for modding Bethesda engines are compared to...whatever this shit is.

did you try opening a project with the unreal engine udk?
if you want to dig for an aes key in slopgine5 then you are better off looking in cs.rin or reshax if the zenhax archive isn't down.

Because of that encryption the files won't even show up in the content window or anywhere in a project

Is there a reason so many women in Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Cyrodiil are running around naked from the waist down? This issue showed up with the most recent updates. I'm just going to pretend it's a weird fashion trend. Maybe it started in High Rock.

High Rock seems cool with women just randomly getting naked if Daggerfall's amount of naked women is anything to go by.

He's busy eating birthday cake with Thai ladyboys.

But lets be honest, it'll be an even more dumbed down Starfield. Complete with fantasyspacedragonshouts for no fucking reason, because they spent resources adding them to the engine 2 games ago and by god they're using them.

MK shares your assessment:
With Kurt gone, my faith in TES6 has cratered.
