Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Uncrate featured a shirt very similar to The Classic. Expect "trendy" people to start wearing them all the time now.

What would have happened to Chris if Barb had died in the house fire?

I mean the house was not in his name and he didn't have a job to pay the mortgage and as far I know no one was following him or managing him at the time, so there would be no Caden around because the fire put Chris back in the public eye after a quiet couple of years.

Do you think Chris would have ended up homeless if this had happened?

SSDI is interesting in that it, on its own, isn't really meant to be a living wage. The only type of person who'd use it as their only income is the type living with obliging parents in a house they own outright, with minimal expenses (i.e., a diet of cheap foods, hobbies that pretty much just require a little bit of electricity and internet, etc.). Otherwise, it's meant to supplement a low paid job, which is harder now that states are banning exemptions for people with disabilities to be paid less. Honestly, those lower pay rates have been about making sure a disabled person does not lose their benefits before also losing the job.

The system is arguably effective at keeping disabled people poor.

Okay i've looked into it and I think there's a good chance Chris' golden age "man boobs" may have actually been caused by gynecomastia caused by the Paxil he had been taking since 2000. It was apparently a possible side effect of anti depressants at the time which was rarely if ever mentioned (which is why they all got sued) and there have been some big lawsuits over this issue over the years as well with some men getting over a million dollars in settlements from the more infamous cases. His 2004 psychiatric evaluation lists Paxil as a medication he had been on for 4 years at that point (2000-2004) so the timeline fits and he may have been on another medicine with the same effect before hand. If we can get a comprehensive list of the medication he was on in the late 90s it could help clarify and prove things as well.

I don't know about you lot but I welcome the boobgate saga. It would be something different for a change at least and the idea of Chris actually winning big for once in his life is amusing. Can you imagine chris getting even 20K handed to him? He would lose his fucking mind and start acting like he proved everyone wrong for getting 20k after 45 years of being a lazy failure.

i highly suspect that chris has been on some risperdal or other dopamine-serotonin antagonist as well as paxil.

I work at a boarding school for kids with issues like autism, anxiety, OCD, etc and some of the meds we give out have heinous side effects. Bitch tits are common, kids gaining 100 pounds in a year even though we control their diets and have daily active programming, kids pretty much mentally turning into zombies too.

Oh yeah most definitely some of that medication does absolutely nothing but turn kids into zombies and it does jack shit to help with any of their issues. Shit should be banned.

Chris being a lazy fat fuck is likely a bigger contributing factor. Obesity and gyno go together

Basically Chris thinks he is existence itself, from the beginning to the end, the "player" in a game called reality while everyone else is just an NPC.
I read somewhere that at least one reason that freak does "the creepy stare" is because he looks at real people as if they're characters on screen. No surprise if it's true.

Chris has called himself a camera a few times. Does anyone know where he got that from?

From a Sept 2019 tweet:
Me? I have known ALL of my life I was special for some reason, counting being First-Person Perspective Camera 0000000001.
From Jail Letter - 19 September 2021:
That being stated, All of my life, my mind, eyes, and literally held the constant perception of being the Central Camera #000, out of all of the other cameras, infinite, from the First Person Perspective of all others.
From the Keffals interview in Jan 2024:
I'm literally the real player one [Chris makes finger goggles] my perspective is camera 0000000 but this individual is like camera one, camera two and so on
I'm wondering if it's a reference to Ready Player One because of that last one.

I recently rewatched one of the videos where Chris was going on about his brilliant idea of "dating education classes" when it struck me how ironic it is that if he had been placed in special ed classes (or, better yet, a specialized school for the developmentally disabled), he would have been given instruction on interpersonal interactions. They would have taught him how to have a conversation, how to act in public, and in general how to behave like a normal person. He'd be able to apply those lessons to interacting with girls and maybe not come off as such a monster. Granted, it wouldn't be the "Gettin' Some 101" course that he probably wanted, but it would have taught him how to interact with other human beings without making stupid signs, throwing hearts on strings, or drawing homemade pornography and putting it online.

It's interesting to see that the thing he wanted (and needed) so much was precisely the thing that he (and his parents) were so afraid of.
Chris' main foe in the comics was Mary Lee walsh who infamously just wanted him to act like a normal human being. Walsh even wrote a book about coping with college which had Chris read (or had he listened to anything Walsh likely told him in private without calling on Sonichu to come and destroy her) would have done him a world of good socially.

The main "foes" of Christory weren't even trolls but just random people who wanted him to act appropriately and to learn basic etiquette (Mary Lee walsh and Mike Snyder). No one trolls Chris harder than Chris does.

I'm wondering if it's a reference to Ready Player One because of that last one.
I think so, the movie is from 2018 and as far as I know Chris never talked about cameras that way before. I never watched the movie and I don't wish to, but from a quick look at a online copy of the book cameras seems to be everywhere in the story. They follow the protagonist and other players, then there's a part where (from what I understand) the mc is inside a specific video game playing a round, the camera is his 1st person perspective but once he "dies" that camera turns for a minute to a bird-eye view showing him his body lying on the ground like in a FPS.

But I didn't see anything about the protagonist's camera being more special than all the others or something like that, so there's either some other pop culture contamination or Chris, once again, simply stole the overall concept, took it 100% seriously and added his ginormous ego to it.
