they basically confirm the start of BG2 to be about early June.
It could easily be Season 4 though. They had this failure last year with Season 3 where they cast people and then made them linger for 6 months which made almost all of them fuck off except for Alex and Binx. Its possible for them to do S4 in early summer and then BG2 in late September when the temperatures drop again. Notice Season 4 has an entry but BG2 doesn't.

Jet/Sam said repeatedly that the first cast got dropped because someone on the team (lawyer?) accidentally used a Fishtank email to send out the contracts, which could've immediately compromised the gaslight. Then, they decided Alex and Binx were worth the risk of contacting them the right way for the second cast. No clue why they did it for Binx, but you can probably see why Alex was worth it.

Binx made them a lot of money and she was a competent shit stirrer at times.

They brought on Ted though because they were desperately slamming it together at the last minute. We know about the leak but of a cast of 12-15 they probably could have pulled more than Alex and Binx from that old cast, the simple answer is that the original group moved on and were no longer interested.

i do have a sneaking suspicion that something fishy is going on, especially since Jet seemed very adamant about telling everyone he planned on doing another proper season before BG2 while S3 was running. but at the same time, it'd be a pretty massive gaslight for him and the team to be teasing BG2 for all this time, only to surprise us with S4. its definitely possible, since they've gaslit the audience so many times, but it also seems like kind of a stretch. guess we'll see in a couple weeks.

Its also equally possible that S4 is in casting hell just like S3 was in September and needs to be delayed. The fish aren't exactly acting like BG2 is right around the corner, they're all making plans that will make them partly or totally unavailable during June.

Season 2 was my least favorite personally, but if you look anywhere outside of this thread, it's pretty clear that it's the fan favorite.
Part of this is simply because Fishtank fans are retarded (S2 is proof of that). But to be fair, there were a lot of people who only started watching during season 2, who's only exposure to season 1 was through the episodes which are pretty terribly edited for the most part. Season three started out great, but had the worst ending, and that's what sticks in people's minds. Bloodgames was by far the most consistent and had the best execution of concept, but it isn't really fishtank, so it gets overlooked by some people.
I really think that the reason people loved season 2 is genuinely because of how easy it was to enjoy it at any moment. There were a lot of cringe moments and terrible jokes but it was genuinely really easy to get behind it because of how beautiful the set for the house was, the social dynamics early season, and the crazy bits early on. I honestly have so many fond memories from S2 of me and my girlfriend just laying down and watching the stupid Cole Detective shit and everyone fighting. It was a really good first 2 weeks. My opinion may be a bit biased though because it was my first time watching a season of fishtank.

I mostly agree actually if we’re talking about the first couple of weeks. But there was quite a bit of downtime later on, and it seemed to lack direction at times. There were multiple group therapy sessions where production was literally begging them to do something entertaining.

It definitely had the best house though. Perfect size and had so much more character than the others. It’s a shame seeing what the wiggers have done to it.

was literally begging them to do something entertaining.
They've done this every season with the exception of 2.5. This clip is part of a larger rant from Sam about how the S1 fish need to step it up and be interesting and Sam did a similar rant during S3 when he got sick of the cry sessions during Famous House.

I had also totally forgotten about those thermostat fishtoys, they did away with those quick when they realized it doesn't instantly make the entire house cold or hot..
You cant even make it that cold, comfort cooling units start struggling below 68°F. You could cook it pretty hot in the house after an hour, but kost thermostats top out at 90, and you arent getting there in an hour.

It wasnt even noticable when the temps change its not like we could see them sweating and wearing a jacket is fairly normal from the start an autistic fishtoy

It was the role she was born to play, the daylight outside and the separate dishes are the only thing inaccurate.

Totally unrealistic, Mizzy would love sitting in a house eating all day, it wouldn't be scary at all.
