EXPLANATION
In July 2022, Mr. Jobst filed a application to the Court to order me to pay "Securities for Costs" in the litigation. Securities for costs is effectively collateral for a potential order to pay the opposing party's legal costs in the event that the Court enters such an order. To be clear, the funds are held by the litigant's law firm and is not paid to the opposing party. In Queensland, Australia, a litigant residing outside of Australia and without property in Australia may be ordered to pay securities for costs to provide a good faith gesture that the party can and will pay the opposing party's legal costs in the event that the litigant loses the case.

In November 2021, Mr. Jobst requested that I provide securities for costs in the litigation. I agreed and proposed $50,000. Mr. Jobst agreed with this amount.

However, in June 2022, Mr. Jobst asked for an additional $50,000. No facts or circumstances changed in the case to justify this request. I viewed the request as entirely bad faith behavior and refused. In my view, Mr. Jobst was clearly hoping that I could not pay an additional $50,000, and he could then file to dismiss the case on the basis of a failure to pay. Or, at the very least, he hoped to tie up more of my money so that I couldn't use it to pay my lawyers. I had the money either way, but I refused to comply with a request that I viewed as malicious.

In July 2022, Mr. Jobst filed a application to the Court to order me to pay an additional $50,000 in securities for costs. I opposed the application entirely. The Court was very critical of Mr. Jobst's counsel at the hearing. My lawyers expected that the Court would not require me to pay any additional funds for securities for costs.

Ultimately, the Court ordered me to pay an additional $15,000. I paid and the case proceeded. You all know how that ended.

Everyone was way to quick to assign certainty of cheating to something that there may have been a deeper understanding or explanation for than the one given by the speedtranny enemies of Billy. I've seen some people dismiss Billy's argument but when he had the right of reply and people were sworn in, his postion that he didn't cheat could not be defeated, not by Twin Galaxies.

It's more than left/right. With a 8 way joystick you can hold Diagonal directions to have Mario instantly mount ladders while with the original joystick you have to move him until he's in contact and then switch from left to up to start climbing, requiring perfect frame input if you want to be as fast as possible. With the 8 way you always get the perfect mount.

To add to this further, being able to input additional directions while walking (such as up and down) will not change Mario's movement, but the game will still "see" these inputs and process them. If you know what you are doing you can use strategically timed "invisible inputs" to nudge the game's barrel spawning code to get more favorable throws either for points or to save time.
