From what I looked now, most of the current talks regarding the bae fancord tickets shenanigans is less on the scalping allegation and more of the fact that:
1. Out of context screenshot seemingly making the whole thing focused on the bae fans first and foremost ("Priority" system)
2. Some of the users there interacting with the main admin that was spearheading the whole thing making remarks that, without contexts, disparaging other holo fan communities.

As far as I know, the main admin of that fancord has apologized and is tweaking the whole thing.

People are still hounding the place regarding the whole thing however, since they just locked the general chat of that fancord because so many people just coming there and asking about the tickets.

Pretty much every major city on the west coast is a shit hole because crime loving shitlibs think that decriminalizing things like theft will lead to less theft, with predictable outcomes.

Due to regs, travel logistics, tax situation, my money is on TX, GA or FL, in that order, assuming that the fish isn't completely retarded and chooses to do CA. The USS Hornet would be an interesting, hospitable CA venue possibility, but the fishman's market research could indicate that Phase is already too large for that space.

BC isn't happening because most of the EN audience is in the US.

The fish is probably aware that Clara is using the role for racking up residency points. Aside from comms logistics and audience ramping, that's probably why she's tied to the JP branch. Depending on the deal they have, it's probably priced in that she's gonna bounce once she's got it locked down.

In theory I don't hate the idea, but the people running it seem really faggy and how they were acting in those screenshots is awful optics. Something like this should have been organized amongst several discords focused on different talents, then it would be a win all around. But the fact it was a single server buying 450-ish tickets and then reselling them in waves starting with their super-special friends and then working down to the lowly non-server members is bullshit.
I think the negative reaction to this is good, as this is a idea that can be easily manipulated for gay-ops and other such bullshit, and while scalpers are scum, I don't think this is the way to go about it. Either it needs to be a community wide effort or something Hololive/Cover themselves (or talents) do.

I haven't seen screenshots, but allegedly that discord is trying to also throw shade at Maddie (Cosplayer, probably lesbian, possibly Transbian.). claiming Maddie also does this shit, which Maddie denies.

You are a niggerfaggot and a communist. If someone is willing to pay $3000 for a ticket, then that's what the ticket should have been priced at in the first place. If I'm willing to pay $3000 for a ticket, I should get a ticket. If the seller wants to allocate tickets to poors (read: you) then they should be tying them to government IDs and doing means testing.

The exact same goes for limited merch runs and lottery systems. A limited amount of tickets for a concert is fine - the world is better off without a Hololive Hillsborough - but if there remain people wanting to buy a key chain at $5 that can't, it should have been $10, or there should have been more.

Companies that under produce and under price like this are foolish for leaving money on the table, and duplicitous for farming the goodwill from having low prices, while shifting the blame of high prices onto those evil scalpers grrr. "Scalpers" are an inevitable and obvious market correction.

This is still why i hate discord and fan communities.
I also didn't know she reacted to the news live, I'm still not caught up on archives. Good on her for being so calm about it.
Shitty that the most emotional hologirl i know about keeps getting caught up in stuff shes not responsible for.
