That's what irks me about the people in Phase that push that shit. I've been moving away from Phase in general because I don't want to watch people that support that shit especially at a company level. I bite my tongue in the General thread when I see them posted to not start shit but I've seen the shit these vtubers say & support. & I know what their company puts out for merch.

Ironically enough when the saba debut was going on and I wanted to point out to Null the significance of the Krab/Kani thing I just went to grab a video from youtube using the word so he could hear how it's said, and what came up was Phase Connect lol

Most of the people I've glanced at seem to be referencing it as the "cursed haha" sort of way but it's still fucking horrible. if something happens some form of implosion will occur like any YT lets play streamer network. There have been several implosions of other ones due to pedos over the course of time even before vtubers were a thing so it's always a potential thing to transpire.

I've know about some of the stuff like her fans calling her a "lewdtuber" & stuff or with Shiina the whole kani thing I've just done what I can to avoid them more & more. Her new song's just another brick in the wall at this point. I liked Clio before I even signed up here but idk if I even want to watch any of the new invaders anymore at this point. Her first video of hers I watched was her talking about The Troubles & I enjoyed it, feels bad to just cut it all off still.

Action from the streaming platforms would go a long way but unfortunately you can't expect youtube or twitch to move on much. Twitch has given some half measure actions toward loli vtubers, holding them to the standards of the child avatar they stream with. By temp banning Shondo a few times for things like drinking or doing sexually provocative stuff when her model is a child. But It's Twitch and they tend to just walk back punishments only doing them performatively and even when they aren't they are inconsistent as all hell.

If anything were to be done on the topic I would think it would need to be enough of the community starting to pressure those platforms about the pedo content on their platforms. I could also see a world where the credit card companies could put that pressure on them if they became aware enough of it. Pixiv, a Japanese art posting website for example got shut out of money from American credit cards because of the questionable content they host. Which in Pixiv's case I believe their solution was just starting to block westerners out of some parts of the site. However if Twitch or Youtube suddenly was faced with the prospect of Credit Card companies no longer processing payments for donations on their platform they'd likely be forced into taking action on the offending creators.

Of course using financial institutions like that as a cudgel has it's own debatable merit and morality. But that's just me spitballing ways that I could see where change would actually occur.

I know I'm behind, fell asleep last night and have been busy this morning lol. I'll say this. I can't cosign payment processor attacks. Just can't. That said, I would think places like conventions banning known lolicons would be a massive step in fixing the issue. That is self policing. And that would create a nigger list that anyone could point to to show that, yes, the lolicons are niggers and are not welcome as part of the wider fandom. That's just my 2 cents

A porn ban wouldn't happen. Not a fucking chance. A lolicon porn ban just might however. I'm realistic in my goals. Keeping the lolicons out would be a immense hurdle, but doable if enough people cared.

Oh it's very simple: Most porn addicts have jacked off to shit they later find disgusting, it's part of porn addiction. Many people are simply aroused by the presence of porn itself, regardless of type.
