I can't speak for mn but in order to have his case adjudicated I believe by August he has to have to CS done when released to probation he will be responsible for a different set of rules and regulations but he owes the court itself the hours and fines. Many states including where I would reside allow you to kick the can down the road but that would keep the case continuing and his 5 year probation would not begin until hes formally sentenced and enters into the probation system.

You usually from where I reside dont do both at the same time as they are two different machinations of the criminal justice system so if you owe the court you must settle up with them before they release you to probation
