It's those stupid German regulations, didn't know Steam decided to apply them to demos and full games separately: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamworks/announcements/detail/4183351393029705363

I don't blame Jason for not noticing his demo is no longer available in Germany, it's a legal mess made even worse by Valve's implementation.
yea but how long will it take for him to fill out the form to make it available again? I guess our grand children will maybe see it one day

GoFile with latest stream and AI transcription.
I barely watched it; seems like more of the same but tamer than yesterday.
We went from 52 fridge mentions yesterday to only 3 today. Jason is tired.

I should be doing an update tomorrow on the 16th. We'll see if it all the writing gets done
I should be releasing a patch for tomorrow
I'm planning on releasing it tomorrow
HeartBound planned update for tomorrow
I am currently working on dialogue for it off stream the next update which should be done tomorrow
It gets more content probably tomorrow
Because I have all day tomorrow to work on the writing

I'm glad the forum is back up :)

We are back.

While the farms were gone, someone posted on LivestreamFail:

And this post made me realize that the Fridge thing is fake, I always assumed that Smart Fridges used Android, but @Panzerfrau informed us that Samsung Fridges use TizenOS which is more like a Linux Distro than Android, so you can't install APKs on a Samsung Smart Fridge.

So I was left in doubt about how could he make it run as an APK. And this post pointed out the part of the video where Steets takes a laptop and a Raspberry Pi to the store. I feel blind and retarded, but amazed that even THAT is fake, every day is something new with this guy holy shit.

Jason fucking wishes he was Moss. Moss actually knew his shit. He'd be more like Jen: compulsive liar, lied to get the job, can't do shit at it, has to be constantly tard wrangled by Moss and Roy.
Moss and Roy sent Jason on fetch quests at Blizzard if we go off his shitty unfinished game.
"Get the duckies."
"Get the stickers"
And even then he fucked that up and had to be moved to another department.

Regarding the fridge thing.
The important thing to remember with Jason is, he lies. It's what he does. He lies to make himself look better, so everything he says should be taken as a half truth at best or a full on lie.

I feel you guys are overanalyzing the fridge shit. Most of those smart thingies are really just a tablet running a slightly modified Android.
And GM has an option for Android exports.
Jason made an Android built for his friend, the friend side loaded an .apk to the fridge and that's it.

ETA: Took a closer look at a video @itogi posted and looks I'm right. I am almost sure he is using Tizen's SDB (Smart Development Bridge) to load the app.
The intention of having the fridge thing is to make people think "Oh man this is crazy how does he do it". It's looks impressive to non technically savvy people. However to anyone with some experience in tech it's just as impressive as me running Mario Kart Wii on my Linux setup.

Bro just type sudo pacman -S dolphin-emu and you're literally able to do what I was able to do. This is quite literally just that with an extra step there's nothing even remotely impressive about other than it being kinda funny I guess.

You must give props to Mald, he is once again gaming the system by spending 12 to 14 hours every day replying to trolls instead of working on his game.
He just keeps his code open in the background and pretends to be derailed by the constant hate all the time, and it even has extra perk of allowing him to constantly stroke his ego in front of everyone. It is a beautiful symbiotic relationship.

I dug up what I believe to be the contract and read through what they were contracted for. It appears to be general advisory, including but not limited to issues that would fall under cyber security, but this is under general advisory. In other words, they were essentially a contracted IEEE inspector.

Eagle Research Corp itself is clearly a bog standard engineering support firm contracted by the US government. They don't offer hacking services, or system stress testing services, or push any security firm stuff. Their document list is also publicly available on their website and it's the products and services they offer, which do not include anything OPSEC or hacking adjacent, as far as I saw. They certainly may handle something hacking-adjacent, like network testing, but we're talking about "preventing Stuxnet" (Not plugging your porn USB drive into the SC class network) instead of writing Stuxnet (Are your centrifuges running? You better go catch them!)

Checking their hiring page, you see that they are really just a general consulting firm. Yellow is stuff you could like, teeeechnically call hacking in terms of a power plant. Like, skills you would have to know, but chances are Jason's role in this was making sure their network was up to code.

Which, to be completely clear, being the subject matter advisor on the topic of network security for an engineering firm which has won over 250 million dollars from the US government is something he could claim and it's perfectly respectable, but it doesn't sound as cool as "The government payed me to hack their power plants"

First off the code you see Mald have open ISN'T heart bound. It's his Server side Minecraft MMO thing. And he doesn't really do most of the coding for that either it's just him switching things in config files (barely any coding). When I did my deep dive on his work ethic on HB he mostly "worked" on "BlockGame"

All credit to Harmful Opinions on this,

I welcome anyone with Twitter blue to download HO's clip and upload it here!

Quality is awful but that's because of the downloader compressing the shit out of it. Smells like bullshit.

Even more impressive, dude was born to be a scam artist.

Slop clip edit I did earlier. Wasn't being able to upload but now it worked:

I'm sorry for the effects I couldn't resist the cringe.

"The government payed me to hack their power plants"
If you haven't already check out this interesting clip, Maldy gives a slightly more honest answer about it
I had already clipped the part where Jason said that his "government hacker" job could be replaced by AI, but since the Slop News Network guy is planning to cover his claims about being a hacker, I decided to make an extended version to send it his way. He says that all he did was "run a shitty scanner and write reports" with no mention of hacking power plants.

Im not gonna bother watching his boring ass streams but is the ban counter his thing or something people add when clipping? because if it is, he's just giving attention to trolls. literally the one thing you shouldn't do. for someone that's been an edgy internet hacker for as long as he has, he should know this by now. insane behavior, stay frosty, hope this helps, etc etc

Nope it's something Jason Mald Hall added to his streams.

Yeah this man 100% worked as a federal contractor that is the single most accurate depiction of government work I have ever heard and frankly that's enough of a super villain backstory to make me understand lying to make it cool.

I will give him genuine props for being so frank about it. Its a very easy thing to play up. Maybe this was before he crashed out but this would be like if Rikieta had a moment of pitch perfect clarity for like 2 minutes.

Everything surrounding his DOE job is pretty vague due to confidentiality, so it’s easier for Mald to push whatever narrative he wants. Because of that, I think he also felt more comfortable being a bit more truthful. Still, he has many a time boasted with a proud chest about how he hacked power plants for the government, anyway.
