It's good to be king.Best in selling cheap low quality consoles?
Best in suing Indies for aping a 25+ year old IP?
Best in making their brand a cult?

See, I know that. You know that. Nintendo knows that. But it doesn’t matter.COTTON CANDY!!!! YUM!
Based on the conversion rate, it’s a little under $50 in the US. I might have to look into that. The digital copy of Donkey Kong I got cheap on amazon japan, is already playable. If anyone cares, it does boot up in English.
He asked why not pirate. There's no emulator. Simple as that.I didn't bring it up. I just commented because it's incredibly retarded that you'd be so smug about the impossibility of an emulator existing when the console has been out about a month and has a single exclusive game.
I'm not sure if this is has been mentioned yet butI seriously wasn't expecting thatthe ending to Donkey Kong Bananza has leaked on youtube and K. Rool is the final boss.
That kinda sucks but it's not a deal breaker by any means.Just got done watching the df video on dk bonanza. It drops down to 30 fps for extended periods of time (an entire boss fight drops to 30(.
This game runs like ASS and they're charging 70 fucking dollars for it.
That could be a deal breaker by all means.Good to know this thread is still spergy as ever. Anyway I’m sure this color scheme won’t have any negative repercussions.

How does that work? What if you bought a Switch 2 in the USA and imported it to Europe? Or vice versa?Looks like Nintendo can disable your Switch 2 for piracy in the U.S., but not in Europe..
Dont make and USA account, i guess. How does that work? What if you bought a Switch 2 in the USA and imported it to Europe? Or vice versa?
Nah I’m im the same boat as you here. It’s not scratching a 3D platformer itch for me and the camera issues remind me of the PS1 daysI bought Bananza and have played only about two hours. Zero framerate issue but my biggest problem is this game is just nonstop button mashing.
I hardly see what's happening because its just particles everywhere while smashing the same buttons over and over. Gets kinda repetitive really fast.
Maybe it will get less mashy but I'm not blown away so far. Mario Oddesy definitely blew me away pretty early, so when I saw that comparison and the same company made it I was really excited.
I don't feel like I’m exploring the world, I'm just destroying everything all the time. Hopefully it gets better- my kid likes it, maybe I'm just old and lame.
If you happen to have a PS5, I'd recommend trying out Astro Bot (or Astro's Playroom, as that comes bundled with the PS5 for free) it become one of my favorite platformersNah I’m im the same boat as you here. I was 10 when it came out. I rented it at blockbuster for two consecutive weeks, got all the way up to the castle world, but then when I got the game for Xmas, I think that was one of the first games that truly felt taxing on a replay. But at least I got that expansion card from it for Perfect Dark months later.I HATED having to play through the arcade game twice to get the Nintendo coin. Say what you will about DK64 but my memories of it are very rose tinted except for that one part. It wouldn't have so bad if not for the fact that they only gave you one life. I wish they woukd put it on NSO because being able to rewind and use save states for that part would make it a lot more tolerable.
There's still a great deal of games still tethered to the original Xbox that may never see the light of day whether they're exclusives (JSRF, Unreal Championship 2), spinoffs of franchises (Far Cry Instincts), had unique XBL functionality (MechAssault), or had unique content and changed up just enough to constitute being its own thing (Rainbow Six 3/BA vs Raven Shield).Plus, most of the best games Microsoft put out for Xbox & Xbox 360 have been available on their digital storefront for nearly 20 years at this point,

I replayed DK64 within the last year. It is a pretty good 3D platformer but Rare fell a bit too far into a formula for DK. Banjo-Kazooie had their standardized challenges like jinjos and witch switches, but that game (and Banjo-Tooie) had much more variety within each level.I was 10 when it came out.
