Besides that huge ass AoS model with the fat guy, are there any GW models that portray greed/gluttony well? Its gonna be a theme for one of my EC rhinos.

Speaking of Rhinos, the stls to EC it up are fantastic. Side doors, top panels, rear door and even the front. GW could make serious bucks if they sold customisable kits as extras.
Excuse me if I'm misunderstanding your post, but didn't they do something like this back when Forgeworld was more of a separate entity? I'm sure they used to offer doors and panels for all of the legions.
All in resin though, so probably far too expensive for what was on offer.

As for 30 and 40k fat dudes, there might be something suitable in the Necromunda range. Necromunda has some of GW's best stuff.

Mercator Sanguis Slaver Entourage. He might have to resort to recasters, It's not a very old sculpt so odds of finding one are good either way

I'd buy them. Closest they have is sisters of battle, and those are very a bit niche in terms of gooning potential.

I've gone on this rant before, but fuck it. I keep hearing how the hobby is overflowing with "sexist" "horny" "boob armour" models, but I can't find them. Female models are few, and those that do exist are heavily covered up (Frostgrave) manly (Stormcast) or 3D prints (don't count imo). And even those that are feminine tend to be on the buff "muscle mommy" ballbuster side. Which makes sense I suppose, but as said, is a bit niche.

Only exceptions I've really found are Infinity and DnD Reaper minis.
Better example here

Edit: Also, I guess if anything this retaded Custodes shit gives grifting fags more material, so they aren't busy circling the same content shit.

"It always sells out!" while my local store has probably 200 warhammer box sets lining the wall. And GW have to mandate that places give a percentage of their store space over to GW and only GW or you can't stock it. What kind of a company has to force shops to give it a percentage of shelf space instead of deciding what to do themselves?

But it's all sold out. You can never get it. It's making record profits. And it's not just scalpers ordering the limited edition runs and whales buying up boxes they put in the closet until they sell them on ebay as "projects I'll never get round to".

How dare you!? Do not compare the lady of the house to that.
I could be wrong, but I'm also pretty sure that a couple of the big army boxes (possibly Militarum and Space Wolves) stuck around on sale for a week or two.
The only thing I still see consistently selling out instantly are the Heresy Era special edition books and the Killteam expansion boxes.

Despite being a great deal (as good of a deal as a box of toy soldiers can be) the Saturnine box was even around on third party sites for a decent while.
I personally picked up the last limited edition Ultramarines box (yes, I'm a fag) the day after release.
This everything instantly sells out thing is a few years out of date and comes across a bit touristy.

Delusional nonsense that you've developed in your mind from sticking yourself in echo chambers for too long. Every new release sells out immediately, every single one lmao and so will this one and GW's profits will only continue to expand as they've continued to do while guys like you spend years swearing it won't happen. I'm sorry man but you really don't have a view of the world that reflects reality.

The actual 40k community that owns models, paints them and plays in public is mostly made up of reasonable people and not pol-scrollers and e-right wingers who spend their days huffing and puffing over the new "woke" thing. We just don't care and never did, the community only grows every year.
"Erm actually chud no one cares about this except people in HHHURIGHT HUUUWING echo chambers" is not a self aware position to have, nor is asserting that you're "part of the normal community" 20 times in a row via posting on kiwifarms with an account that's a play on "nigger slayer",

If you were actually the chad "I don't care" react image you seem to have in your head, you wouldn't be resorting to sperg fits on the Chris Chan forum at the crack of dawn on a Saturday to prove it. People that genuinely don't give a shit aren't white knighting on forums and calling everyone who does care about it /pol/ users. That is not "I don't care" behavior, that's "I care immensely from the other side of the debate" shit.

Anyway, to be more on-topic, should I buy this robed Psycho Warrior mini? We only see one legion in the show so I don't know if it'd work with another color scheme or not.

Pre 2020 Privateer Press alt sculpts via their minicrate monthly subscription, older editions of Malifaux(and even then it was mostly just women in dresses and shit like that from the time period of the setting, alongside male characters in normal clothes that weren't uniforms or something designed for combat as well), Kingdom Death Monster(which has mostly naked male characters as well, plus all sorts of weird monster shit), Star Wars(but it's shit the characters would be wearing in the shows and movies anyway and even that would barely fit the complaint), Marvel Crisis Protocol(because it's based off of comic books so it would be really strange if the characters didn't look like the prior art), Warcrow(also by Covus Belli, but it's all monster women and shit with tree limbs for arms, or tentacles for legs)

So yeah, everything I could think of off the top of my head other than Infinity that you already mentioned(which for a lot of male and female characters is just using a form fitting slim "futuristic" style anyway) needs a big asterisk next to it because it involved alt sculpts, shit the company was doing a decade ago, or it's literally just looking like the source material(like MCP). The true coombrained retard models are all shit from etsy or third party proxies, most of which are 3d prints these days anyway. The complaint is something I've heard, but it's pretty damned rare, and hasn't even really been a thing for... 10+ years at this point? It's just more people who aren't even tourists, looking to bitch about something they know nothing about.

GW does have sisters of battle in boob plate and heels, but there's nothing particularly "sexy" about them other than the limited canoness veridian model that was based off of an old art piece. There's a bunch of that stuff in AoS among the various elves, but it's also monstrous shit like tree women and crap like that. Even Reaper Miniatures has been on the verge of falling apart for a couple of years now due to family infighting after the founder died a couple years back.

The main place where the "sexy" minis is very much a thing outside of the etsy stores and third party shit already mentioned, is display minis and busts... but those aren't game pieces and aren't even always in scale or designed to be based properly as game pieces anyway. A lot of which are painted and sculpted by women anyway. You also rarely see these models out and about anywhere besides non gaming mini focused painting competitions and shit(like Monte san Savino).

The Heavy Metal team historically cannot paint woman faces. Wait for some makeup fanatic to get their hands on them before judging too harshly

I am just pointing out the simple reality that more than 99 percent of the community is totally fine with this and the only people having sperg fits over the girl custodes are niggas in echo chambers, it annoys me when culture war tourists who have no appreciation for the hobby start to have psychosis induced discussions about how its dying when anyone whose in the hobby could tell you its never been bigger than it is right now and every single year without fail it has become bigger than the it has ever been. GW just reported yet another year of record breaking sales regardless of the female custodes which were announced a year ago.
Magic the gathering sell like crack and they have SpongeBob SquarePants sets and shit design on top of woke shit and you need to piss away money on the product.

You should not look at people being mindless consumers of slop and go 'oh, those are the reasonable ones'.
So which is it? Are these franchises dying from the woke mind virus or are they unbelievably profitable regardless of online freakouts? The actual reality normal people see is that MTG is an enjoyable game so they buy it(albeit TCGs are not my thing). People pick up 40k and its just a great hobby so they stick with it and it continues growing. If you had a world view that wasn't poisoned by online culture war sludge you'd be able to understand that hobbies are not about whether they're slop or based or jewish they're about enjoying something.

A week or two? If you're in the UK you can buy basically anything you want off the shelf right now. My local LGS has literally hundreds of warhammer boxes. All of the old world releases, all of the 40k releases. It's all there just to walk in and buy. And I live near several shops where this is true. Even random book shops selling 40k had decent walls of it. There's very few things you can't get.
Despite being a great deal (as good of a deal as a box of toy soldiers can be) the Saturnine box was even around on third party sites for a decent while.
GW brain rot right here. £4 a model and a £200 boxset for 50 models is not good a deal. It's not even close. £200 can get you multiple rank and flank armies for some games. You will say "they're not as good" or "well they aren't space marines". But £200 is not starter set territory. Starter sets used to be £30. Now for a larger game 50-80 is the standard. Bolt action starters are £100 for a full tournament ready army of 1,000 points and has over 50 minis in it.

It's so strange GW fans have no idea of what a good deal is on plastic figures. Being a third off a massively over inflated price is already twice as expensive as every other game on the market. Without including the extra books and stuff those games need.

Every person I've ever asked "hey so how do you feel about them retconning in female custodes?" IRL the response has almost universally been "yeah that's dumb". It's no different than the retarded Terminus Decree reveal outside of the obvious political motivations behind it on GW's part. No one asked for it and (as far as I've seen) no one thinks it's a genuinely good addition to the lore, but for the sake of their own enjoyment they more or less just pretend it doesn't exist unless prompted.

Sure people aren't jumping from rooftops and abandoning the hobby over it, but the idea that because GW isn't going into bankruptcy and there isn't mass boycotting that it's proof the general fanbase are fine with the changes isn't as logical as you seem to assume. People love the hobby so they'll willingly ignore the things they don't like, but that's not the same as acceptance or endorsement.

Somebody gave me an Amazon gift card.

Which of the Emma Gregory narrated audiobooks should I go for ?
I've not listened to it but Requiem Infernal was a great read with that slightly creepy Warhammer horror vibe.

Also, I doubt she takes centre stage as I'm assuming she plays the Sister of Silence character, but I really enjoyed The Regent's Shadow too.

I've known people online who go crazy for mermaids and "nagas" and the like. But it's all very niche.

Heroic scale with it's oversized head and hands might be working against it too. I've also had female model kits where the boobs get in the way of guns. I don't think it's a coincidence that the few hot female models, like repear and infinity, are more true scale. It can work, I just don't see it done.

It's like I (only half) joke, female space marines are fine by me provided they have big boobs. That's a compromise that the culture war people on both sides of the fence hate. But also one I'd throw money at,

I say this all the time. Get shit or indifference most of the time. "Points per dollar" is a shitty argument, and other games have way better value. Bolt Action is on the expensive end as far as historicals go and you can get a full 1500pt list for the price of a combat patrol. Even K47, which is more expensive for no real reason, is way better value.

However, it's not just GW fans, though they are the majority. It's baffling how people point to Star Wars Legion and Fallout as cheap alternatives when they're more expensive than GW. Maybe they're cheaper in the states, but shit like £20 for a pile of bottlecaps or £50 for a 5 man squad seems insane to me. Maybe if you're comparing them to GW or Infinity characters?

Completely unrelated. Does anyone have thoughts on Epic Warpath? It's Mantic's answer to epic/imperial legionalis. I've been interested in playing Epic simply because the models are smaller.

"boob armour"
I never understood that. This is not a realistic setting; it is space fantasy. Power armor will stop the user from dying from the energy transfer of .50 machine gun fire and even plasma shots. Are you really thinking "not, but if a single starving chaos cultist punches a sister in between the boob plate mid combat, it will shatter her sternum, and she will die instantly."?

Besides, the armor is fine, people sometimes just mistake the horny fanart they see with canon art, the armor is thicker than plate armor and made with sci-fi bullshit, you don't need to make their PA identical to Space Marines for the sake of "muh realism" and being a neo-puritan.

Tangent, but I find it funny people share these arts to show "this is how they should look like but GW is too sexist" because the guy that made them also draws rape porn.

People on the internet not understanding that the world will not end if a woman has anything bigger than an A-cup will never not amuse me.

It's a hobby that has been aimed exclusively at boys for 40 fucking years, of course the women look hot.

Neo-Puritans are worse than regular ones, at least the old ones thought "this is a sin because my religion says so." Today they go "this is bad because it is straight slop and any hot person must be LGBTQAIOASDASH+"

I've seen people call John Blanche's Sister art fetish, because they just remember the cover for the 2nd ed Codex and ignore most illustrations in the codex are all normal.
