How will Bob react to seeing the Mario film?

A necessary corrective to Bob's splooging over Transformers 5, from people who actually understand film as a craft and artform:

Also, because Bob's writing gives my inner English teacher screaming fits, I have to do this. Just a little.

Why not replace "...following then-U.S. President Barack Obama’s historic lifting of certain political and economic sanctions (including travel bans) that the nation had imposed against Cuba since the height of the Cold War..."

with "...following President Obama's lifting of the Cuban embargo..."?

That's all you need to write, you wordcount-padding shitheap!

This is Bob we're talking about. If he still hasn't emotionally evolved from high school, what makes you think his writing skills have?

In his "superior future," blue collar workers are either reduced to slavery with no voting rights or simply exterminated like vermin.

They wouldn't be slaves because menial labor is obsolete. Bob's belief is anyone who can't find a place as a philosopher king should just starve to death.

So does that mean he doesn't support the "universal basic income" favoured by some liberals? It's difficult to keep track of what he believes, other than that it's exceptional.

Maybe if it went to women and minority groups only? I don't know what purpose they'd serve in his Superior Future but he doesn't directly wish any harm on them and says your standard liberal stuff about them, them getting fucked is just an obvious consequence.

So rather than read what Bob posted about the new Transformers movie, which I just came from, I'm guessing he sees some kind of political message regarding the Cuba scenes. Because I find it unusual he would try to make that argument given this is a movie series that he would say is not only a blight on cinema but on humanity as a whole and that only the lowest of the low would get any sense of entertainment out of watching it.

If he is trying to find some political jab at America, did he forget Michael Bay was the director? You know, who directed a movie about the Benghazi compound raid that Bob most likely hated even if it didn't take shots at Hillary Clinton? The guy isn't someone like Oliver Stone or Michael Moore where he outright states he's making a political point. He even has a good relationship with the military that it seems Michael Bay would be the last guy to make a statement about Cuba.

Bob's salty as usual, and I'd kill just so Michael Ian Black could shut up and make another season of Stella:

I see "Optics/Bad take(s)" are his new favorite phrases:

Remember, Bob's 100% not a liberal:

Something something Obama good Trump bad, therefore no more American movies from Cuba.

In his blog post clarifying his politics, he stated that he sees no need for political ideology, is only concerned with results, and will cherry pick from schools of thought that he sees as helping him achieve the results he wants (i.e., the Superior Future(TM)).

He says that, but it's just an excuse. He's not really a pragmatist or a utilitarian, though. Anyone who can look at the results of the policies and rhetoric that the Democrats have used lately and claim they work is a moron. They've resulted in the Democrats going in less than a decade from having both chambers of Congress, the Presidency, and arguably the Supreme Court, to having none of them and losing the vast majority of state governor seats to Republicans.

If you were really results-oriented, the only reason you'd support the Democrats continuing to use the same strategy is because you actually want the Republicans to run everything forever. You certainly wouldn't worship a piece of shit like Hillary Clinton.

So Bobby wrote two separate reviews on a trashy summer popcorn fare Transformers: The Last Knight, while what he has deemed "best films of 2016" got merely a lip service?

P.S. Who the hell's still playing Pokemon Go?
The right question is: how the hell is he playing PG, consider he never goes out?

Bob's a liberal in the same sense that Joseph Stalin was a communist. They'll spew all the "correct" shit. But give them a hint of power and everyone will suffer equally.

The weird thing is, tonnes of university educated people supported the Republicans. They're just not very vocal. This bizarre stereotype of rednecks is really strange. The Democrats base didn't show up. That's it.

And they didn't show up precisely because of retards like Bob who tried to browbeat them into being as intolerable a eunuch person as him and his Social Justice cultists were.

That and Hillary was the worst candidate to ever run for office, but don't let Bob hear that or he might go on another 50 tweet rant.

This thing is, this could also describe Bob to a T. YUP:

Or maybe it's his favorite because he can still get you salty about it:

Really, his political philosophy is complete nonsense.

* He worships the "elites" but hates Republicans, the traditional party of the elite.

* He despises the working class, but votes straight-ticket Democrat and adores Hillary Clinton, a party and candidate that is at least putatively the party of the working class and was substantively that party for decades.

* He apparently believes automation is totally inevitable and desirable, but fails to recognize how much his precious globalization relies on a poorly-paid underclass rather than worker robots (or whatever he's got in his head -- seriously, he comes across as someone who watched that CGP Grey video "Humans Need Not Apply" and instead of walking away from it troubled and concerned what to do about the future, he came away licking his chops like someone just waved a bucket of fried chicken in front of him).

* He once referred to black women as the most enlightened voters, or some other such numinous garbage, while apparently failing to realize how many from that demographic believe heart and soul in the religions he sneers at as "superstitions."

Help me out here. The more I read his ramblings the less sense it makes. He seems never to have considered any of these contradictions at all, and I just have no idea what the fuck it is he wants ... other than to punish the people he hates, of course. Maybe that's all there is to it.

Bob wants to be one of the hip kids and on the "right side of history". In his mind it's all he thinks he has going for him. He's an incredibly unattractive manbaby approaching his late 30's. He could never be a popular kid in high school, but now they have this thing called twitter....

It doesn't make sense because his politics are dictated by his id. Logical consistency isn't the point, because his beliefs are a lashed-together morass of things that make his outsized tummy feel good, not a coherent viewpoint. In my armchair-philosopher opinion, this sort of "voodoo ideology" is very common among people like Bob, who are largely disconnected from society: without anyone FORCING them to think critically or understand the underlying metaphysics of certain political positions, political beliefs naturally drift into subservience to confirmation of base-level biases. (I would tie this to my larger personal opinion that many lolcows are such because, whether through regression or retardation, they fail to progress up beyond a certain layer of the hierarchy of needs, instead being content to wallow at the lower levels.)
