@Mound Dweller cooking thread - Welcome to 5 star br*t*sh cuisine n’wah

Bri;ish is a slur, there is no such thing as br'ish, it is an invented identifier much like "beligian" "americ*n" and "sp*nish", it is a purely geographic distinction; no such thing as bri;ish people.
Ill just refer to you as a great britard from now on, better?

You don't understand, they may well taste fine but that doesn't matter, because I do not know, because I simply cannot eat them
I get you fam. It’s called ARFID. Im trying to pinpoint what’s bothering you to see if there’s any vegetables that are similar in textures/flavours you’re already used to that you can try. That way it isn’t overwhelming to the senses, I feel Sauerkraut that has been recommended or the assparagussy you tried are at an advanced level since they’re quite pungent lol. I’m happy you tried it though, even though it went in the bin :winner:

Do you ever chuck fruit/nuts in with your yoghurt? They’re also a good source of fiber if veggies is an absolute no.

Listen, I'm American and I never understood this either. But then I made a proper 18th century Boston baked beans recipe in a bean crock, cooked all day and everything. They are incredibly good as a breakfast food, on toast, with eggs/bacon/potatoes, etc etc. It was really a lightbulb moment and I went "I GET it now". I still don't get how anyone likes the canned slop on toast, but now I understand how a culture developed eating beans for breakfast and perhaps just got used to canned crap replacing good breakfast beans. Real baked beans are awesome on toast/with breakfast.
I've whipped up a full English more than a few times, and even outside of that some eggs, ham/sausage, beans, and coffee are a great breakfast.

You can call me whatever you want you sick fuck, just don't expect it to mean anything :eli2:

Oh great, muh condishuns. You cannot fix it, literal actual starvation could not fix it, there is no pill or magic mind trick for it, it doesn't matter what it's called, I just can't eat that stuff simple as.
I do like crunchiness though, the "beef tallow mayonnaise" I sometimes pooost is Greek yoghurt + fancy honey + cheap oats, no fruit though that would ruin it, wrong type of sweet if you know what I mean; I use a LOT of honey and fruit detracts from the desired moreishness.

Sorry nigga, you got textbook arfid. You can fix it by training yourself to get used to the foods you can’t eat. To do that you have to want to fix it. And if you don’t want to fix it, you don’t have to. Just get some vitamin supplements if you haven’t already and you’re golden.

Homemade granola is really fucking good, easy and cheap. Mix oats, honey, nuts, cinnamon and shiet if you like that, add nut butter if you want it to be more rich in protein/filling. Pop it in the oven, toss it around a couple times and you’ve got yourself a yummy crunchy treat.

Do you eat some sort of vitamin pills? Drink fruit juice? Do you actually eat like this all the time? How have you not died of scurvy or something yet?
Energy drinks and other colorful beverages often contain vitamins
The polish are a funny people

Bigos is an interesting choice for Dweller because it's not supposed to look well. I wonder how badly he would fuck this up.
And it's super tasty.
Proper bigos looks like this. Pierogi are cool too, however they take forever to make so Dweller won't have enough patience for that.

Also, I have no idea what that rant about innards sausage was about. I had it maybe once in the last decade. It's good, but not really as great as I described it. I guess I get really overly excited when drunk.
