If you are going to wear something that is advertising B-movies, at least be cool and wear a Cannon Films shirt

American-International was cool. They made all those Roger Corman Edgar Allan Poe movies with Vincent Price and Karloff and what have you. Wonderful stuff.

Of course, nothing is cool when snugly coiled around Bob's wretched form.

This is where the movie part of Bob fails. If he was a genre film buff, why doesn't he do videos on American international or Cannon Films? Hell, even just do a video series on the legendary Roger Corman, the man who invented the modern trailer and has blessed us with so many fun B-movies.

He's like DSP, instead of putting in effort to introduce audiences to things they might not have heard of, they're making less money chasing whatever's new.

Yeah what brings audiences is bring them either something they have never seen before or in a way they have never seen before. Imagine if Bob in some other timeline became like a Shlock king reviewing Corman films and he was beloved for reviewing low budget films

How well is Cinema Snob doing? I can say relatively fine if he doesn't have a thread in here but if he doesn't makes more than Bob I'm getting pissed.

There's a channel already like that called GoodBadFlicks. Needs more love, imo:

I know it's only a $30 difference, but I'm still pissed that fatass is making more money.

So in other words he would be--

DAMMIT! You beat me to it. Yes, go watch GBF. Cecil is awesome and unlike Bob in every way.

Which reminds me. Awhile back on this board someone wondered what the polar opposite of Bob would be. I have determined it to be Victor David Hanson. He's smart, well educated, voted for Trump, lives in CA, actually owns and works his own farm, got married and had kids. Oh yeah, and did a whole podcast on the virtues of physical labor that sounds like one giant middle finger to Bob.

If you want someone closer in age, then Cecil from GBF. He never shows up on screen and hates talking about politics (for additional anti-bob points).

"hey uh you got any snickers?"

Thank you sir. It's the best belated birthday present I ever got.

Since Bob is always trying to add deep thoughts to the genre movies, has he ever had a video or article discussing such films as Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, or even No Country for Old Men?

He did a video on The Matrix that Plebbit fawned over:

But that's really it when it comes to more cerebral genre films.

The Matrix though hasn't aged well and the stupid pseudo-philosophical horseshit for me just wasn't that good in my opinion. Of course bob would love it though because of my above point. I guess if it isn't Mauvel or some colorful action flick, Bob could care less about any other additions to genre filmmaking.

It was a cheap ripoff of concepts Philip K. Dick did better.

Also it was made by a couple of fucking trannies. Fuck trannies!

I think it's a good film on its own. Just ignore everything that came after it.

It was pretty much a live action adaptation of every gritty cyberpunk anime OVA of the late 80s and 90s.
Don't get me wrong, on its own I think the movie is okay. But the "deep" meaning a lot of people gave it because of the entire "reality is an illusion" crap was and still is ridiculous.

And the third movie was Dragon Ball Z at the end.
