A lot of artists on Tumblr give Kirishima dark skin and draw him with his hair down so he becomes kind of unrecognizable.

Yes, the characters depicted are Kirishima and Bakugou.

I mean, drawing him with his hair down isn't the problem. In the manga, he occasionally wears his hair down.

The problem is that they made them black/Indian when they're already "poc" on account of being Japanese. Japanese people just aren't brown enough, I guess.

Also, the facial anatomy is terrible, even for anime fanart.

Its cuz MHA is the hotest new anime for fans to latch on. Like how so many people were drawing fanart for mob pyscho 100 or one punchman.

Anything anime that has a lot of decently good looking guys are going to have people draw shitty arts of it.

Although for mha, some of the characters designs are pretty hard to draw so I dont blame people for inprovising how they look.

I wonder if that's because the SJW circles on Tumblr have this weird distaste for visual novel romance games as a genre. I don't know if it's because those games are designed to end in the dreaded hetero romance, or because those games are designed with the player character hooking up with another character rather than shipping their preferred "soft gay bois," or because romance can't be separated from that game genre, but for whatever reason SJW crowds really dislike those breed of games (though lets face it they hate all games) but not enough to REEE over them the way they do with other genres.

The closest a romance dating sim got to gaining an SJW following was Dream Daddy... and I'm sure everyone remembers how that turned out.

There was DRAMAtical Murder, which was super popular immediately after the Dangan Ronpa shitstorm, but while visual novel fans on Tumblr do exist, they tend to stick to their own corners.

DRAMAtical Murder did feature a male player character and male love interests, however.

The game crashed more than Launchpad McQuack. I'm surprised the SJWs didn't latch on to Coming Out on Top since it also has two POCs (not counting the ones in the bonus dates) and is gay.

There's little rhyme or reason to what fandoms get infected by SJWs.

HunterxHunter, for instance, was airing at the peak of social justice's popularity, had a lot of attractive male characters, and it even had trans representation. But the fandom had almost no SJWs. Same goes for Tiger & Bunny, which is also racially diverse in addition to all of the above.

OK KO on the other hand, doesn't have gay representation or attractive men, but that fandom is swarming with SJWs. I guess they ship tease Enid and Red Action, but it's otherwise not a particularly progressive show. This is also the case with SVTFOE; it's a pretty standard kid show aside from having a female lead.

It's basically all about what the popular blogs on Tumblr like.

I think in OK KO's case it has specifically to do with the creator having initially worked on Steven Universe (who also happens to be a black guy) and the art style is very simple, easily duplicated, and not too far off from SU's so churning out a ton passable fan art for it in a short amount of time means a lot of Tumblr artists gravitate towards it for the sake of attracting an audience.

Remember, despite their claims to the contrary SJWs aren't about uplifting the most progressive shows they can find - it's about tearing down shows that they deem to be too popular for their tastes.

In my search for awful hero academia art, i discovered that there are actually 2 canonically confirmed trans characters, a secondary hero and villain. Maybe this would explain why this fandom found so many sjws? Probably not considering these two seem unknown/unpopular, sjws would rather troonify the white hot guys than show love to the the actual trans characters.

In my search for awful hero academia art, i discovered that there are actually 2 canonically confirmed trans characters, a secondary hero and villain.

I can see sjws getting all up in arms over that trans villain not over insensitive depictions of transgender women (because damn if tumblr artists don't draw trans woman characters looking like that sometimes) but because of being a villain. There was that whole 'queer coding villains' thing that people were offended over.
