I've noticed that these people really like to draw their trans headcanon characters being babied and coddled. It's weird and slightly pathetic. Especially if said character is already pretty capable.

The artist does realize that only men gain fat in their guts in such a way, right? It's part of learning anatomy to know how males and females gain fat differently, and only males get those beer bellies. Guess the artist failed at making him trans, eh?

It also kind of fascinates me how little Tumblr cares about Yoshihiro Togashi's work. Despite being a mainstream shounen mangaka, the dude's included LGBT representation in his work since the early 90s, and in ultra-socially-conservative Japan, no less.

Not just him. Hiroya Oko the creator Gantz made a manga series about a lesbian schoolgirl called "Hen - strange love" it's a bit pervy but also it's a good representation because the characters are believable and the romance is really cute. The story also includes a gay romance. But I'm happy that tumblr ignores that one.

They would just turn the main character who is *the horror* a pretty girl into a brown fat troon creature.
