Yep, exactly. It's a very powerful manipulation technique because its inconsistent. Waiting for the geyser to blow is no way to live yet you can't address it because the one with the power can always point to similar occasions where they didn't behave like an arsehole, turning it back on the other. You have to live expecting arsehole.

The worst thing is that her gfs are sweet. Not intellectual powerhouses or beauties, but nice people. And they're the most vulnerable because, deep down, we assume people largely think and feel as we do. All of them - Casey, Krystal, Destiny, Dana, Becky, Rafe and the queens seem relatively uncomplicated and chill, tolerant people. I'm not saying we'd all be best friends but there is something likeable in all of them. But the best I can ever muster for AL is feeling sorry for her, because her actions don't match her words - it's easy to tell everyone how kind and wonderful you are, and even to make big gestures. But it's the little, everyday things that matter and those she just doesn't do.

I think Becky has it worse than all the other ones, because unlike all the previous girlfriends she can't fall back on the "I was young and naïve". Not only that, but Becky seemed to have constructed this though, take no bullshit persona to face the world and Amber cracked through that and went straight for her insecurities really fast.

In less than an year Amber managed to destroy the shell Becky has been creating her entire life. I hope the boys help her in some way, otherwise Amber will completely demolish her sense of self.

Since we're talking about the pets has anyone heard anything about rarity (I think that's how you spell it) getting fixed? I know she said she'd called the vet on Monday but Monday has passed and no word about the vet. I wonder when she'll regret not listening to us? When she has a bunch of kittens destroying the house or when the poor cat's uterus is so infected that she has to be euthanized.

I think AL may have miscalculated with the boys.

From things said, I've got the impression the three of them are all shy and anxious, and they came together against the world. And they still have that very strong connection - she may have appropriated them, they have accommodated her, but it's obvious when you watch them that she's not part of the group in the same way they all are.

They've got a connection going back years and seem to have a fairly typical male-type friendship. She's just someone's gf and, in my experience of male friendship groups, they just come and go. I just hope Becky doesn't make the mistake of allowing AL to separate her from them. I guess it depends which part of her wins out - her ego will tell her they are her friends too, but her insecurities will force a separation. But even if she does do that, male groups tend to stay away until the nightmare gf goes away, then just come back together and just ignore whatever had happened. I hope so anyway, for Becky's sake.

Sometimes they do, other times the friends move on. I know a guy who, by the time he got away from the GF, had lost all his friends and a boatload of money.
Even if Becky friends come back after the break up, by then it might be too late for Becky.

I don't psychology sperg a lot, especially when people talk about anxiety issues within the fag shanty, but I wanna point out that Becky has significant anxiety, and anxiety can be ramped up to 11 by being around someone exhibiting a lot of nervous energy. Another anxious person can be a reliable trigger, but loud-mouthed squeal parties in a Super Clips next to the interstate can really do it, too. I get the feeling that Becky is experiencing this rather than any fear of Amber REEE'ing at her over a failcut and abusing her (in this instance). Bitch needs to get outside the Fag Shanty and chill with Rickie, doing something quiet for a while to escape the constant overstimulation.

Did she say it was balayage? Balayage is a technique where the stylist paints the color on clean hair, freeform. She has to be good, as she is replicating where light would fall and what hair naturally does in the sun. This is done without foils.

If Amber got balayage, it would have cost a fortune on hair that long.

Not to be prejudiced, but I don’t think I’d do an advanced technique like that where she lives. I’m sure there are good stylists in Kentucky, of course, but I’d have done a lot of research. If you are doing foils, then any goood colorist should be ok.

Playing around with hair is fun-dying it different colors, different types of highlights or lowlights-but when you have hair to your butt it changes. That takes years to grow and I think you need to be careful as the only options are cutting it or living with it.

I haven’t seen enough photos to see if it’s toned right or there is the variation you should see with that technique. But I really don’t like the dark striped roots ending at her neckline. It looks terrible.

There is a new product on the market that prevents and prepaid hair damage. It’s incredible stuff. And very expensive. It’s called Olaplex and stylist here in CA swear by for keeping bleached hair glossy, healthy and long.

She didn't outright say it was balayage, but her stylist did. I suspect that if you go to any run of the mill salon in podunk, KY and say you want balayage... well, this is what you get and likely didn't cost as much as a true balayage by someone who knows what the hell they're doing.
