I would be interested in phil playing spiderman the movie game,007 nightfire or EON, any of the early harry potter games (ps2 or gc versions) ,second sight, the hobbit and specifically die hard vendetta. Most of these games don't hold your hand throughout the game and combined with the clunky controls would make for interesting tihydp videos. Especially in the second level of die hard vendetta were thugs shoot at a shopkeeper if you don't enter the store a very specific way. Or any of the stealth sections i. The 007, harry potter games, second sight, or the hobbit. I would predict dsp ragging on the second level of the hobbit and getting stuck on the first level of second sight while trying to get the door open

I dont see Nightfire being a problem tbh, it is a pretty straight forward game, besides maybe the second or third last level with stealth but thats not even THAT hard.

My vote would be Final Fight Streetwise, the final couple of stages are really tough, especially if you're easily frustrated.

Vagrant Story. Hands down.
The basic thing in combat is that weapons are aligned to two things--the type of monster you use it on most, and the element of the monsters you use it on most. If you use one weapon on everything, it doesn't have a particular 'role,' so it becomes a piece of crap because using it on certain monster type pairs--like human/beast, dragon/undead, phantom/evil--will cancel out each others' bonuses.
Another thing he'll rage about? Chain and Defense abilities. Chain abilities are effects you can add to your attacks, like Heavy Shot (adds 70% more damage); Defense abilities are effects you can pull off when you're about to get hit, like Reflect Damage (returns 40% of an opponent's physical attacks back to them, but doesn't reduce the damage you take).
Why would he rage about this? Well...you have to time them. And getting good at Reflect Damage is pretty much the only way to beat a certain boss that doesn't take hours of hitting it, because you have no weapon that does anything other than scratch damage to evil-type enemies at that point.
Also, there are three characters I can think of off the top of my head that he'd immediately make gay jokes about. Hoo boy.
