Ahhh ok thank you, I missed that. What an odd situation. Still living at home but can fly off to washington to meet some guy from youtube. Maybe the parents finally looked into who she was seeing.

This. In one of his pre-streams he stated that he has to 'buy her new clothes because she lives in..." He managed to catch himself and said "well, lemme not get into that".

Her parents may in fact know what is going on and know she is being naive. Her parents probably tried to have a "come back to jesus" discussion with her that resulted in an ultimatum. Either stop with the nonsense or get kicked out and gave her a final day. If this is true it would make sense for her parents to keep some of her clothes. It's not uncommon for parents to keep some of their children's possessions in the event that the child returns home. This of course wouldn't be an issue if she were staying on her own as Phil claimed.

This girl is either 19-23 years old and is living with her parents or lives in some sort of group home/halfway house. I'm thinking it's the former considering she supposedly has a gaming rig with internet. Of course that's not to say people in group homes/ halfway houses do not have those amenities. However, based on the little things that Phil manages to slip, this whole scenario reeks of a naive child trying desperately to get away from her parents. It's clear that they are taking advantage of one another. We already know Phils intentions, he simply wants a maid he can occasionally fuck. But we don't know of the girls intentions. She could just up and leave once she establishes herself in WA. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Especially getting to know his "soulmates" personality traits.

I'm placing my SoulMaid bet on some type of natural disaster refugee who's parents died during, who's living in a motel ("we have to buy her new clothes, she doesn't have any because she lives in a. . .") and has worked her way up to shift manager at a fast food chain. Sometimes motels get renovated and where else: doesn't have laundry facilities or storage space, has monthly leasing where in mid-January she was thinking about resigning for March and was thinking of a 3-month lease, doesn't have a kitchen? She's never had the opportunity to cook with expensive ingredients, is excited to live in a nice house, loves to clean, wants to do all the cooking and cleaning. . .this girl legit sounds like she lived in abject poverty in the 3rd world that she just got out of.

The sugar daddy scenario seems pretty plausible as well considering she supposedly has a job and her own phone that Phil says they call each other every morning; yet Phil has/is going to pay for: a new cell phone and cell service, a new wardrobe, 3 to 4 sets of round-trip plane tickets, all moving expenses, possibly car insurance?

I've seen people run this scam before where they work their way into a lonely buffoon's heart so they can live rent and bill free, then they keep all the money they earn from their shit tier job (say $20K per year after taxes) then use it to set themselves up with an education and better life. After 2 to 3 years max they leave the schmo and take all the stuff that was bought for them, maybe toss some domestic abuse charges on top. I'll be interested to hear what Phil's piss-baby bitching is when he asks her for money, and what he says her excuses are that she can't give him any.

A quick reminder that Phil actually did initially go about this sensibly, having apparently kept this lady secret for so many weeks and even months if his word is to be believed - if he'd let it end there there'd he zero drama however, many people (including myself) said it was imaginary and he took offence to that, so revealed more than he should have as his fragile ego was hurting. If he'd said nothing more than about its we'd still have doubted the authenticity of the claims but so what? But he hates the idea of people calling bullshit on things like this.

Phil is a cunt of a human being, using people to make himself feel better. The selfishness of the man knows no bounds. If this lady is genuinely real then Phil has blown thousands of dollars that fans gave to him during his fake tax crisis to fund flights, fancy dates and shopping trips, as well as paying to move her few possessions through to him. The fact that the fate of the relationship hinged on whether Phil kept his second home speak volumes to the character of this mystery lady. Part of me thinks she might be fleecing Phil but part of me thinks they'll be just as bad as one of another to manipulate his gullible fanbase even more.

It's certainly interesting to see how things develop but Phil has absolutely, intentionally made sure that people scrutinise it. He needs the attention.

I heard that the Amish let the kids go to the real world for a whole year when they turn 18 where they can do anything they want, after the year they have to make a choice of living in the real world and never having anything to do with the family again OR returning to the commune.

Taking that into consideration maybe this girl is a amish girl who met phil on that year of freedom and because she doesn't know any better thinks he's a big shot..it would account for why she has no social media presence and would require new clothes. It would also explain why she "loves" cleaning.

i think we can all agree that it is definately not his soulmate or that there is any love involved (on her side). especially not after he saw her 3-4 times. but even if she saw him more often i just cant believe that there is a normal and sane person in the world who could love or even like a pigroach like phil.

Monster Hunter is the best selling game on the xbox store right now but clearly Phil wouldn't find any randoms to play with. Or he could play on ps4 which is more popular still.

The main story took me 30 around 25 hours, there's continued story beats into the 40-50 hour mark but I don't think anyone would complain if Phil skipped the second half.

The first half is easy by monster hunter standards, fights take about 15-20 minutes in most cases and except for when you need to see cutscene solo you can coop (both party and drop in) every single fight. The most grinding I did was 4 fights to make a complete armor set, which I didn't really need to do.

Phil's excuses are fun. He could put the game on his poll for extra $$$ since it's all his chat talks about. A quick check shows that besides selling over 5 million copies week 1, its currently #6 in America and #2 worldwide on Twitch.

Edit: I would say Phil ignoring that he could just play the game solo is most telling.

We're taking Phil's word on that, and Phil's word throughout this has meant shit. We don't know a thing other than there may possibly be a woman and if there is she has to fly to see him. But throughout the details have not fit together, probably because he's making them up as he goes along (he was a "bachelor" on Thanksgiving but seriously dating her since the summer, she has no Internet presence and lives far from him but they just met randomly somehow, etc.)

He could have done the main story with fans in like 3 sessions I would say tops. Do the first few solo to get them out of the way and after Pukei-Pukei the game picks up. Anjanath fight the first time screams "let's co-op this with fans." Anything after the completion of the main quest is pure stream filler, much in the same way these random Overwatch streams would pop up with new content. He can't tell me there weren't a dedicated couple of folks in his chat that he could have both his safe space and be getting the Monster Hunter clicks.

. . .but no. His chat told him it was a 100-HR main quest grindfest and was soooooooo boring (the latter of which of course was not Phil's fault) so Phil of course listens to minority in disservice to the majority.

Everyone that plays it has massive amounts of free time, he doesn´t, he is the common gamer, they are not, etc etc etc.

He can´t play Monster Hunter because that means becoming another sheep. That means doing what he´s told. That means that he was or could be wrong. That means that every scene he made for not wanting to play it was him being an idiot.

Having beat the campaign (and doing like maybe one or two repeat hunts to get items) my MH routine is basically: get off work and hunt for about an hour before dinner. I've mostly played with randoms and at no point is my voice chat on; hell most of the time you're playing with a Japanese player who isn't likely to even know who Phil is. There's a tweet that suggests one of his complaints was that "all the monsters are on the ground! See how unique SotC fights are!" So I guess Dark Souls is a worse game than SotC (and let's be real, SotC boss fights require you to figure out one thing about the monster before you're just climbing on their back looking for spots to hit; and this is from someone who loves that game).
