We have fun exceptions once in awhile, but betting on chimp out videos is the tard lottery. Chris going is much more predictably funny.

I agree - nobody thought too much about him going last year...except when he got back it was all gold. The dumbass must have been going around in public with that stupid ass unicorn horn all the time, probably stared into the eclipse without protection (while wearing the horn no less!), and immediately began to talk about how binatural beats gave him psychic powers of bending paper with telekinesis and he was hoping the eventual power of flight.

Happy Chris is best Chris, because he just believes the dumbest of things in that state.

Nah, man. I don't buy the bronycon thing. It's just a sales ploy.
The way he words it, like "don't all my fans want see and meet me, their beloved Christine, there? Here's how!". He's in deep on some real world bills and he's wracking his autistic, narcissistic brain on how to get this crap sold. To him, depriving fans of his presence should be enough to get the money rolling. He's always done this shit, going back to his "everyone do as I say or no more comic! And we all know you don't want that!"

lol also niggas got court in like 3 weeks

Oh, I can believe Bronycon is that important. It's almost literally the new MHS because it's a place Chris feels accepted for being the weirdo he is.

He's realized that people aren't going to be willing to give him money as much just to fund his pleasures as compared to effectively being charity to support his chronically ailing household.

Chris isn't selling the things he should be selling. He's picking the rattiest, oldest and fucked up things he can judt barely muster enough willpower to let go. He sold his Wii, an old ass system you could probably pick up for 40$ anywhere else, but kept some of it in case he wanted it back again later only to give those up as well. If he was really desperate it'd been the PS4 but he'll never give up that life upgrade.

To be fair, Chris parting with anything in his possession is still a step up from hocking off old shit belonging to his half brother for arguably the same reasons, along with maybe getting Barb off his back without feeling guilty about it.

People have been screaming at Chris to sell his toys for years.

Now he actually is, there's outcry.

I personally think it's good he's getting less attached to his dragon's hoard of toys and is actually parting with some, it's a step in the right direction. As for the reason, well, Barb is a harpy and if he can find X amount of people dumb enough to buy his junk so he can go sperg out with the great unwashed pony contingent, then whatever.

Edited for spelling error!

Implying he won’t just buy more toys at Bronycon

Basically this; Chris isn't downsizing, he's going to try to sell 3-4 toys for hundreds of dollars, and come back home with a couple duffel bags full of shiny new horde.

"Rest assured the money I'm getting *BELCH* is going towards helping my mother."

Oh man, the last 12 seconds of that video were beautiful, unadulterated, not-trolled, classic Chris.
It's just "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE" instead of "NOW NOW NOW".
:feels:

...is he in bed naked there?
Literally thought the same when I saw the thumbnail, looks like he's not wearing anything under the sheets. I thought for sure this was it, chris had finally resorted to webcam whoring for money. Click on the video and he even starts the video by saying "look, everyone, I know you want me to show myself in a video, doing what I hav- doing what I'm doing with my mom..."

Honestly, the whole system is fucked and unfair. We live in a world where the rich hoard wealth and the poor struggle for the basics. Look at my budget, how is artist such as myself supposed to survive?

Mortgage: $500
Food: $500
Medicine: $60
Video games: $2000

Hopefully Christine joins the socialist cause and becomes a fellow worker of the world.

He wants money to go to fucking BronyCon...

My only question is if Barb agreed to this.
If she can make Chris not go to MagFest (all though by manipulating) which I’m guessing to spend more time with Chris, why would she approve this sort of behavior?
Especially at a time when you are in a constant threat of being forced out of your own house.

I'd be more sympathetic to Chris going to cons if he used them as money making opportunities to sell stuff and sell pictures/autographs.

Perhaps shes too far gone. Recent videos strongly suggest that to be the case.

He's realized that people aren't going to be willing to give him money as much just to fund his pleasures as compared to effectively being charity to support his chronically ailing household.

It's not charity.

Chris is selling shit, people are buying it because they want it. Sure prices are inflated, but I get the sense most people who pay them do it because they are willing to pay a premium to be a part of Chris, not because they are trying to give him charity.

I think the charity angle is what pisses people off, because Chris doesn't need that much charity. And it is mostly on Chris, because he always frames it that way. It seems like despite his ego, he can't quite wrap his mind around anyone wanting to buy something from him except out of pity.

My belief has always been that if someone wants to buy something and Chris wants to sell it, the rest of us should just fuck off. But I have to admit Chris does bring some of the criticism on himself by bring charity and morality into it. He tries to frame it as a moral thing to do, which makes people question it and call it immoral. When really, it shouldn't be either, it should be an amoral decision. If I go to Walmart to buy a spatula, I don't think about whether Walmart or Spatulaco "deserves" my money. I want the spatula, they want to sell me the spatula, let's make a deal and move on with our lives.

He should just say "look, here is some stuff for sale. It's great stuff, you should buy it". If he wants to bring things like Bronycon into it, I suppose there is a way of doing it. He usually starts out ok, with a message like "Hey, I want to go to Bronycon, so I have put some great new things up for sale." But after a while he resorts to begging and framing it as charity.

He'll be fine with socialism until he finds out it means not getting rich even if the comic comes back into the spotlight.

You'll have to forgive me, I don't know transformers, but I do know cleaning second hand crap working in a pawn shop. That cassette looking one. That looks washed. You can see the swish on the left hand side. Considering the lightness of it, I'm guessing it was some washable markers.

And yeah, maybe people calm down. It's Chris. He does dumb shit.
Yeah, I agree it looks washed, I think, at least in my case, it was more about what affects a vintage toy collector’s purchasing an older piece in great condition other than “this belonged to Chris”.

I think what bothers me the most about Chris selling his toys isn't the action in itself, but him constantly saying please. It's like my take on Chris apologizing, he doesn't say it because he means it, he says it because he expects something in return for saying it. He learned as a kid when you say please you get what you asked for, but never matured past that.

A glimmer of self awareness in a sea of tard cum?

Edit: o lol nevermind, this was posted in the other thread.

Or, maybe she is against all this - but then, how is she going to stop him in her condition?

ive always wondered who the madmen are who actually buy these things and support this guy. is it just so he doesnt go homeless and die? is it out of sympathy? how many rich fans does chris have?

My question is - what do they do with the items after they've received them?

I can't imagine anyone proudly putting said items on display, you know?

At least he learned how bad an idea it is to write your name, or anything for that matter, in marker on the merchandise just before attempting to sell it for some crazy amount.

If any merchant is going to pay top dollar for shit like this, its gotta be mint. Marker is a no-no. They don't care who the fuck you are.
