It's weird how at least 70% of the "big" channels that talk about this show are made out of black autists
Just discussed the episode with another and we both boiled it down to "Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz" had a big melt down over being told what to do and the ensuing war was just a big tantrum.
It probably would've worked out better if she just approached the others, as a diamond, and announced she was gonna rule her colony her own way.

that would be interesting but i like more female villains in my shows. shame they either get redeemed or are just misunderstood.I don't watch the show (my sis does, I only look at screenshots if something cool design-wise appears), but does anyone else think that White Diamond would turn out to be male ("toxic masculinity" morals optional)?
It’s become clear that the Crewniverse does not want any male gems. Despite plenty having pretty masculine designs (Topaz, and Zircon). The only thing keeping “male” gems from becoming canon is a male voice actor. They claim gems are non binary, yet go by female pronouns, and clearly have feminine traits (they do realize adding gender specific traits to non binary characters completely defeats the point of them being non binary right?I don't watch the show (my sis does, I only look at screenshots if something cool design-wise appears), but does anyone else think that White Diamond would turn out to be male ("toxic masculinity" morals optional)?
Even if they refuse to cast a man to voice a gem why not get an actress with an ambiguous sounding voice? They all sound feminine. It’s become clear that the Crewniverse does not want any male gems. Heck, when someone asked one too many times, one of the writers went full McIntosh.
Lesbian species.Even if they refuse to cast a man to voice a gem why not get an actress with an ambiguous sounding voice? They all sound feminine.
It's exactly what that was, or at least to keep herself from mentioning associated details of the truth. So hey....
You think all those times when Pearl would cover her mouth in the show when Steven was demanding answers or doing something important was her reminding herself not to bring up the whole “Rose was Pink Diamond “ thing?

Perhaps. But why the heck did she desire to take Steven to Homeworld once?
I think they were trying to make the mouth covering look involuntary like she was physically unable to talk about it.So hey....

Anyway, the most important thing to learn here is that Steven's Dad's dick is harder than diamond.
I think that was just space in general, not specifically Homeworld. But she did go a little bit crazy from loneliness that so, so...Perhaps. But why the heck did she desire to take Steven to Homeworld once?
