Liquid didn't choose the troll life, the troll life chose him.

nice meme dude, smoke it up

But yeah, it is just a waste of time and effort to try to troll Chris nowadays. The old golden age is over, Chris is much more paranoid and private, and all the good ideas have been done already. Anyone that tries to do that right now is more than likely a tryhard ween.

Honestly, I have no particular malice towards Chris, but I don't really feel the need to protect him either. He's (ostensibly) a grown man and can fight his own battles. If he hasn't learned by now that putting all of this crap out there on the internet for the entire world to see is a bad idea, then he never will. I'm not trolling people, but if other people do, I don't really care one way or another.

I think my biggest problem is that so many people are quick to accuse others of being a-logs simply for laughing at Chris. I'm not saying Chris is worse than Hitler, or that he deserves to die, or anything so melodramatic here. But Chris is definitely... well Chris. He does stupid, bizarre and sometimes funny things, both when left to his own devices and when prompted by the trolls. He is funny, and I don't feel much guilt about laughing at him either. Yes, I sometimes pity or feel sorry for him, but the fact is Chris also has a nasty side that comes out from time to time. Like when he accused that autistic girl of being a troll. Again, not saying he's a monster, but there are definitely times when its hard to like Chris.

Like Mogambo, I don't bear any malice towards Chris either. I think in some ways, we all have a little bit of Chris inside of us. I don't really find a lot of his antics so much funny as I do bizarre. Chris has done a lot of things that make him hard to sympathize with, that I also agree with. I think it is hard for some people to explain just why he is this or that without going down his "sin list" and devolving into A-logging. Where is the line between explaining why it's hard to like Chris and A-logging?

A-Logging is generally over the top, seething hatred of Chris, a sort of homicidal tard rage. But I see what you're saying.
Chris is not a very likable person, but he's not Hitler. He's also not worth trolling at this point. He's dull as hell from what PCA and others say, as well as paranoid as hell. Plus, anyone wanting to troll him should ask themselves: what are they going to do that reality hasn't done to him already?

In 2008, trolling Chris was like poking a dragon with a stick and the dragon goes apeshit.
In 2014, trolling Chris is like violently jabbing a stick at an old, frail rabbit and the rabbit does jack shit.

The past month has been ridiculesly active and over the top. We don't NEED to troll Chris. He's doing a fine job by himself while being a fake tranny lesbian and getting arrested with a felony charge no less.

You'd be surprised at how hard the weens would disagree.

But really, people, we've been setting the stage for years. Now it's time to sit back and watch as he wrecks his life all on his lonesome.

What's the point of trolling Chris at this point? The man/woman has gone to the point that even should clyde cash fuse with every successful troll in christory into one ultimate troll they would be unable to troll efficiently as Chris trolling himself.

Also as many said, the golden age is over. What we're seeing here is the dark age of Chris, an age where even successful troll attempts like Catherine the fake high school friends are shunned on this forum. New Chris is not like the old Chris, where before he would literally bounce back in his naive self in mere hours now he's a deflated bitter mess who no longer is funny to troll.

Chris has always been at his best when Chris was left to his own devices. This is true more-so now than ever before, since the dessicated husk of his common sense has finally, after years and years of neglect, stirred itself into something very vaguely resembling common sense. It's actually difficult to get him involved in these sorts of affairs any longer, because of his rampant paranoia. Even if it was easy, let's be frank: It's just not worth it. It's been done before, it wasn't that funny before, and he's leaps and bounds more entertaining when he's running around doing whatever his blessed, little head tells him.
