The fainting comparison was to highlight that it's a lower level response. Like a panic attack. You don't really have conscious control over something like that.LOL, well yes, but again, can Chris ever be brought to a point where he functions close to normal in situations such as these?
It's like getting kicked in the dick and throwing up. You could practice suppressing your gag reflex a lot, but it's probably easier to just learn to avoid getting kicked in the dick.
(Obviously a gag reflex is a nervous response. It doesn't even hit your brain. But you get what I mean. Turtling and panic attacks are more primitive responses, ones that are harder to physically control than, say, Chris getting angry and getting into a shouting match with the guy.)
I think there's a good chance he was having a panic attack or something like that related to autism. No, it was being kicked out and being too stupid to act like an adult and deal with it.
I think just ordinary consequences work just fine. The tie-in with my thoughts is that while the talkers have great intentions and hopefully can help him somewhat, can they have a more profound impact to help him more in life, especially since in the not too distant future he will be alone?
I don't think you understand what a ween is.Why isn't Null a wiiiiiiiiieeeeeeen?
A wëen is a lame, unsuccessful troll. They have to be both.
So they have to be someone who wants to troll Chris (but fails) AND their ideas suck. Counter examples:
- Bluespike was not a wëen. Many people believe his ideas suck, but ultimately he was still successful at trolling Chris.
- Someone with a really funny idea who tries to troll Chris, but for some reason or another, he doesn't bite. They might've fucked up, but as long as their idea was sound, they're not a ween.
