Redesigning Floraverse - Because PK is a fucking idiot

Okay, here they are!
White Beleth was renamed to Lilit, since you mentioned wanting Red and White Beleth to be separate characters, and I liked that idea a lot. I decided to make them siblings; Lilit works the daytime shift, and Beleth works the night shift.

Lilit is a female cat-marionette. She's made of vinyl and all of her joints are pretty obvious. A big ribbon tied around her waist functions like two tails. She uses the pins stuck in her hat as dual-wielded swords if necessary. Her eyes are also made of glass, but one of her eyes is missing.

She's sweet and feminine, but can be bitchy or geeky like her original incarnation at times (but not to the point where it's unbearable). She still likes cheesy romance anime.

Beleth is Lilit's older brother; they were made by the same creator (possibly Jupet). He's an old plush toy who has been patched up one two many times. His eye got mangled a long time ago, and now he wears a cool eyepatch. I don't really have too much to say about his design... I just took everything I thought was ugly about Red Beleth and made it a little cuter/more interesting.

He's a pretty no-nonsense, serious guy who takes his job very seriously. He's generally pretty quiet, but opens up and has a decent sense of humor around those he trusts, such as his sister.



Lilit's pupils are slits and Beleth's are round because Lilit works in the day, while Beleth works at night. Cat eyes get thinner during sunlight hours and rounder at night.
Also, they took loose inspiration from Nekomata, a cat Yokai with two tails. I wanted to make them seem more demon-y while still remaining cute, so I threw in that reference.

Those designs are super cute and far more interesting! I think that's one thing that always confused me when it came to Beleth--they didn't look doll-like at all! They looked more like a regular... or at least, a scrawny/noodle cat. I think these, along with the hint of Nekomata, is a much better/more appropriate design choice!

I will definitely draw Beleth too.
Even if I should be drawing other things. I don't caaarreeee

They're really cute and deserve to be drawn a lot! Others in here as well, but I've yet to really venture through and pick out who I'd also like to draw.

They're also good practice, fun to draw... and since they're redesigned by not shitty people, it makes me feel less guilty drawing them lol
Though, to be fair, even before all this I never drew fanart of Floraverse (for many reasons)
But I'll sure as hell draw people's redesigns!

I try to avoid doubleposting, but i wanted to know if anybody here was interested in me writing an excerpt of something in this universe. I'd want to avoid appointing myself some sort of head writer if we ever made this project an actual thing but i wanted feedback if how i wrote seemed appropriate

Maybe we should make a group conversation or another thread if we actually plan on revamping Flora to avoid flooding this thread.

As for a group chat, maybe a discord? I don't personally use it all that much but for those who want to keep things a bit more private if they so desired, it's a great and fast way to share thoughts, art, ideas and scripts. But that's only a suggestion.
