Apart from that, not bad, Christian. I actually think he did really good on this medallion. :sonichu:

All the characters are available, including minor side characters.

Shit, after seeing the medallion for lynx, I kind of... want one. I don't even know why I want one. I just do. Although I would have no idea how to explain it to anyone who sees it.

"So, yeah. There's this 30-year-old autistic guy with awful Sonic recolors and I frequent a forum dedicated to him, and he makes medallions out of Crayola Fuckin' Model Magic. And I wanted one. Please don't judge me."

That's absolutely charming and I would get one if I had the income to do so. Unfortunately, I just bought a lot of Hordes mini's for my Farrow, so I can't justify this purchase. It actually looks better than if I were to make it. Perhaps Chris started on the wrong craft and could potentially be successful with sculpting and similar arts instead of drawing. Probably too late to find out, but still a fun thought.
The maintenance card made me actually chuckle at my office.

That's cool. I at first had some doubts about Chris and his ability to deliver the goods, but I'm glad to be wrong for once.

You know what?

I'm actually considering inquiring about one of Sonichu's darker half.

Punchy in a pimp hat would be great, as I'd want a pimp medallion with bonus pimpage, but I'm not going to bother. The comic pages sound interesting.

If I had ordered one, I would have picked yawning squirtle or boulder-dropping whale. I'm glad someone got one of those two. Please make sure to post a picture :heart-full:

It's interesting how despite struggling with most artistic mediums, Chris manages to sculpt decent representations of his characters without any prior knowledge. If he applied himself, he could probably get fairly skilled at doing basic sculptures as long as the style is not too realistic. I wonder if making these medallions was fun for him at all? It's a shame all of his creativity is essentially gone, otherwise he could potentially have a rewarding hobby and a skill that isn't judged in the context of his autism.

It kind of adds to the stoner gimmick though. At least with the eyes. The rest of it looks like a super-rushed paint job.

Edit: I'm a little interested in seeing if any of the other Sonichu medallions will turn out like this though. Perhaps Chris got sloppy with this one because it's a character he doesn't understand and doesn't care about?

It's terrible, but something about the face captures the Yawning Squirtle feel perfectly. Like looking into a mirror while on acid.

Also, I'm curious to see how others turn out now. Did Chris do well on the first one because it's something someone bought, or because it was his precious Sonichu?
