So the goal is to get everyone to use Zandronum then?

The problem with Zandronum is it still haven't even reached Zdoom 2.8.1/GZDoom 1.9.1-2.1.1 (the last GZDoom/ZDoom versions released before everything rolled downhill) in terms of features yet, last time I heard.

At this point, Graf deserves a lolcow thread. He's so goddamn exceptional that he does shit like this, and not adding stuff people actually want, such as online. Bonus points that the thread is now locked because people disagreed.

Yeah, it'll be locked later on with his troon friend Rachel. Randi was the better tranny, despite being a tranny his ZDoom versions were actually great and Graf limited his retardedness when he was around.

I haven't seen Graf's face yet. But if his real name is in the internet for everyone to see, this should be a bit easier? He works as an app developer AFAIK.

And yep, Rachel's probably just as bad. He got offended over someone insulting people who are shit at driving, and no insults like r.etarded are involved. Just AVGN tier insults.

There's no good reason why they made it that way, and it seems like it's just Graf emulating Yanderedev again and doing shit that's killing the sourceport more.
Dumb question, but will there be a way to keep older versions of GZDoom floating around? Because I do like using it to play mods, but shit like this is why I've slowly stopped using mods.

Yes. Just upload them to a file sharing site. Also, I hope people fork one of the older versions of GZDoom and build off of that, preferably 2.1.1. Graf and Rachael are ill-equipped to make GZDoom.

I bet he will sperg for the line about Earth being the melting pot of the universe or "Do not call our guests demons as that is offensive. Instead call them mortally challenged" (some spergs are already REEEEEEEing btw)
 
That retractable blade is fucking cool. Loved how that cacodemon got killed by spearing its eye through the mouth.

For some reason source-port authors tend to be troons or gigantic faggots (i'm looking at you, fraggle).
I dunno, I doubt you can be a bigger faggot than Graf, who says no to the most sane requests, but puts in the dumbest crap with spaghetti coding. Just mentioning him on /doom/ is a good way to start a flame war.

What I especially liked about what we've seen in the gameplay footage would be the new weapon upgrades. I've always felt they were kinda superfluous in the previous game; some of them were cool, like the chaingun's auto rotate and the rocket launcher's lock-on missiles, but I ended up forgetting about them about halfway through the game.

This game seems to be going all out with it's upgrades. I especially love the grappling gun on the super shotgun since it allows for so many new ways to move around the environments. The rapid fire combat shotgun's pretty sweet too.

Speaking of movement, that's another thing that excites me. The previous game had some pretty slick movement and acrobatics, but Eternal seems to be greatly expanding on the Doomguy's movements. I've noticed a short quick dodge maneuver being used, which I really like since one of the things I kinda didn't like about 2016 was the lack of any dodge mechanic. And the environments have some cool setpieces like climbable walls and swingable branches. The branches in particular could get a lot of mileage out of the new arenas the game's cooking up.

All in all, I am hyped as FUCK for this.
