I can't internet very well so I want to ask: what benefit would he gain from artificially boosting visitors to his forum? I can't imagine Dave has enough of a weak ego to pay for bots to inflate numbers that aren't even publicly-facing in the first place. And when's the last time he waved his dick about the level of activity there anyway? He doesn't care about the size of his hugboxes, just the level of their security.

3) Gifted 350 subs ( and counting ) by an unknown while less than 10 subs away from reaching the goal.

He manually bans people in chat saying they think something is wrong.
He doesn't act that terribly surprised, pleased nor grateful when 50 gift sub bundles continue to drop in his chat.

Exactly, if you wanted to use bots to fake forum activity, you have to have posts. The more likely explanation is that it's

1. There are 100+ people from the Farms visiting during high-drama days (the only time we check forum numbers)
2. SEO/Data bots scraping the forums for posts
3. The forum logs each reload by a guest as a new guest arriving.
4. Some combination of the above.

this is the shit that makes me believes he doign something dishonest like having someone mass subbing. the fact that he points out they are legit and doesnt really sound surprised or enthusiastic about it

This dood just splashed close to $2750 in DSP's face (of which DSP receives "only" half), almost one-fifth of $16K. I really don't get these exceptional people. Dood could've helped DSP exactly twice as much by simply tipping him directly.

Oh, internets, u so weird sometimes.

The man is dead inside. Have you ever heard even the slightest hint of mirth when he laughs? He does it because that's what his alien overlords taught him to do before they sent him here on his seventy-year mission to scam autists.

Though on your larger point I do agree - this is either someone he set up to mass sub or another very limp-wristed attempt at trolling. Dood's getting paid either way.
