Oh, juicy... I was skimming the front page of KiA looking for anything interesting because of a different thread here today, and I stumble on this:

Looking into it further, the original Smollett was 20 pages, and a second "proven that shit was faked" thread opened 4 days ago on 2/16 and it's still up with 35 pages of replies. No notable staff responses,

but it's basically one user saying "hey, shouldn't the people from the first thread be unbanned?" and the first few responses being "those weren't people, they were still victim-blaming subhumans, etc." Curious to see how this develops because it makes the mod interference look really bad to their community internally overall.

On the other hand, it will be amusing if they have to keep up these absurd standards. Always listen and believe victims even if you have no evidence. Surely that could never be misused.

I know they won't but it's something that will always come up now since they insisted on it so much. Anytime they have doubts about a victim of anything.

Ah, I was wondering why exactly Colby Klaus' cow thread was bumped despite him being low activity, what a tangled web these various interests weave. I didn't realize it was connected to ResetEra.
 
It's only connected to ResetEra in relation to this drama and the fact that these people often use ResetEra as their primary source of information on who to target. This game website in particular is one of the few existing contrarian ones. That's actually my bad for not noticing the other thread though.

Man, I hate this bullshit about how difficulty is gatekeeping and why shouldn't they be allowed to not even try. If you want to play a game and suck at it nobody is stopping you, but don't bitch about how everyone involved with the game are horrible people for not rewarding you for not accomplishing anything. Nothing about life works that way and well-adjusted people don't have a problem with that.

Why would ANYONE join ResetEra? It's clear at this point that if you join, you're either banned or a brainwashed tool.

It's full of exclusively white men who think women are offended by attractive/feminine women (they aren't, try talking to one someday), think getting evidence before making an argument is bad, and think white people with cancer are still privileged. Every time they hate or ignore something, it becomes more popular. And every time they like something, well actually I can't remember them liking/tolerating anything.
