The biggest obsticle to unionizing I can see is the surplus pool of potential staff, unless their's an increased value of individual employee's it'd be hard for the unions to have any teeth-show any defiance at your shitty treatment and they just bring someone else whose wants into the gaming industry because it has a misguided popular appeal. That said their's no reason a union couldnt provide passive support such as access to legal advice aand fiscal support, but it would require the tacit approval of the Corporations in question which considering they're run by total unrepentant scum like Kotick is tricky.

Weird splotches, bald, they were given famous names and joke names by the Earth immigration authorities (the main alien guy was a cop named "Sam Francisco," and I recall at least one episode with a guy named Shakespeare -- or that might have been the movie), they got drunk on sour m!lk, they ate raw meat (I seem to recall fast food restaurants that stocked roadkill), and the main character was played by James Caan in the movie and the dude from Robot Jox in the show.

A great time to be alive, the late 80s-early 90s.
