Does Chris actually enjoy anything?

Hear me out. You're probably thinking "Of course he does. He enjoys video games, stuffing vegetables down his throat, watching TV, and listening to shitty Muzak."

But he engages in those activities. He does those things to kill free time, which he has plenty of. But does he enjoy them? Does he derive pleasure or satisfaction from them?

I think he's gotten so depressed he's just going through the motions of what once made him happy, he doesn't actually enjoy it anymore. It just gets him through the day into the next.

Also for all his failings Baldrick at least managed to leave descendants from the Tudor era all the way down to World War I.

If you count Back & Forth, Baldrick's lineage survived into the new millenium. And then there's the scene from the far future in Blackadder's Christmas Carol where one of Baldrick's descendents was present.

But you may be right that Chris' lineage will end once he finally dies.

I think it's in everyone's best interest if these genes don't perpetuate.

Actually, this is a good point, and one that may tie into Chris' autism (and his stupidity and disinterest in the world around him). I'm not entirely sure Chris does enjoy stuff. He seems to latch onto generic things like pop music or TV shows but doesn't seem all that passionate about them. It's possible it's because he can't follow plots and subtleties so things just go over his head, but it may be more likely that Chris simply plays things to have "white noise" going in the background. That would explain why he so easily latched onto his parents' movies and TV shows; he just doesn't care what's on as long as something is on.

While he plays withe Legos and buys vidya (which he may or may not play) the only real thing that seems to excite him is Sonic, and even then it seems that he's got diminishing returns there.

Heh, I'd forgotten about those. Yeah, that would take Baldrick (and the whole Black Adder gang) all the way back to Roman Britain.

The details are already out in another thread.
I know that, but Chris has been really guarded about revealing details about the rendezvous. Chris wanted to tell only the future "sweetheart to be" the details (and as others have pointed out, I don't think most girls would be too thrilled to hear of one's past exploits with a lady who is a prostitute in intimate detail). This is odd because normally Chris has no reservations about spilling "honest content."

It doesn't sound like the same kind of fault. Knowing Chris, though, if he does find out about this then he'll decide that that's actually what was to blame and Keurig were totally at fault.

It's whoever's fault Chris wants it to be at any given moment. Snyder, Greene County realtors, Santa, Keurig, Trolls. Take your pick.
