Update:
A friend of mine called the Gamestop in question (cuz he's a total ween) and relayed some info he was able to obtain:
1. It was the Gamestop @ Fashion Square Mall in Charlottesville.
2. The substance that Chris sprayed IS pepper-spray. Not perfume.
3. The Jerkops were called.
4. The other local Gamestops in the area were immediately notified by this Gamestop in order to keep an eye out for Chris coming into their own stores to vandalize/assault.
5. The sprayed employee hasn't yet decided whether to press charges at this time.
That is true, but "ban" heavily implies a formality and a time frame (if not permanent). I imagine they would have said to "get him out of here" or "kick him out" or something that sounded more like an on-the-spot decision if it were said on a whim.Good catch-- I didn't notice that. The guy who posted the video certainly did know who Chris was.
Still, the language of the post is ambiguous. It could be that the employees recognized Chris right away and that the instant he set foot in the door, they told him he was violating an existing ban. It could also be that they didn't recognize him (due to employee turnover), they left him alone, and only when he started screwing with the Sonic Boom boxes did they ban him, at which time the video starts and Chris walks out of the store and sprays the employee.
I don't know if the ween stuff that we got from people calling the GameStop is reliable..
It's only a regional ban. Ricardo can still freely shop in the 2 or 3 stores that exist in Spain
Regardless of the target, intentionally discharging pepper spray indoors is a crime in a lot of states.
Most major companies require a police report be filed in the event that anything close to a violent crime occurs in the store.
The one @ Fashion Square Mall was pretty tight-lipped, but one of the nearby Gamestops (Chris is notorious to all the Gamestops there) and he was simply asked basic questions like "Is the guy who got sprayed OK?" and "Were the cops called?". When my friend called the FSM Gamestop, the manager there at first tried to deny anything had happened, and then after being told that one of the local Gamestops mentioned that it happened there, all he would do was verify the stuff I passed on and said "refer any other questions to the Charlottesville Police Department" and hung up.
MY own personal conclusions: Chris was visited by the cops because of this, but wont likely go to jail (unless he throws another fit like he did during his Halloween Adventure). At most he might get a citation and a fine to pay, and be told in no uncertain terms to stay the f*ck out of any Gamestop store on Earth. If Chris is smart, he'll stay awa......oh who the Hell am I kidding?
He might be charged with assault and battery, so he could be going to jail. This seems like a pretty solid inference to draw in light of the fact that he hasn't mentioned it on Facebook yet. Usually he's more than happy to brag about striking a blow against the Blue-Armed Impostor, be it at Target, Sega's Facebook page, or wherever else, but not a word about this so far. A visit from the police (with some nonspecific threats about potential criminal sanctions) might be enough to spook him into shutting the hell up, just this once.

I feel surprisingly worried for Chris's well-being upon hearing this.2. The substance that Chris sprayed IS pepper-spray. Not perfume.
