So, the most interesting side effect of aging, I've learned, is that you're forced to learn. Our brains are amazing at pattern recognition, we can notice patterns in the subtlest of behaviors.

If he doesn't see it now, then he will soon enough. I think he HAS noticed a pattern, but he can't figure out what it is. He's too focused on bits. All of chat can be hard core trolling, but if there's a few people doing cheers, he ignores it. And you can drive the conversation. I'm testing that out right now.

The reverse side of this coin is that during new experiences over 50% of our brain activation occurs in memory, and in Phil's case all those memories are delusional narcissistic revisionist histories so anytime you would expect a normal person to notice a rising trend in chat trolling or a repeated exodus of mods or people consistently telling him 'Used to be a genuine fan, but due to your repeated shitty behavior I'm done, that was the last straw' instead Phil's genuine response is: 'Yeah, there's a lot of brainless, idiot sheep following the cult/herd mentality out there. The patterns his disordered, delusional, narc brain notices are not the output you would expect from a more balanced mind and the conclusions it reaches are generally dysfunctional and unconnected with actuality or reality. He's not about to self-reflect because that requires an admission that his self might possibly have failings or room for improvement, for narcs like Phil every time he says 'I'm not perfect, I'm only human' it's not an admission that he needs to improve, it's a narc manipulation blame shifting tactic.

This is why you can find instances of Phil acting like the same lolcow asshole in like 2001 or 2002 or some shit. He was a dumb asshole shit-talker back on Shoryuken forums, and even back on his first website Tophaters.com. He's been the same dumb asshole for like 2 decades. He's a lolcow.

I love seeing that sub count slowly going down the toilet. He was so optimistic before, even though he tried to downplay it that he'd level out much higher than this. I've never seen a streamer drop this consistently when the gifts stop. considering the 10 year legacy, 180k subs on YT and the 50k vids he's uploaded, his sub count on Twitch is dead.

Someone needs to step up and donate like 600 subs so he can feel successful again.

That's not exclusive to DSP, though, it applies to basically all their partners and people who bring in money.

That's like if someone has the means to hire a really good financial adviser who can move their money around, put it in places, and pay less in taxes on their income because they're doing it. Someone says you're jealous they have the money to do it, and you say you're not, you're angry/jealous that they can hire someone to exploit tax laws for them while you can't.

The only way I'd be willing to make money the way DSP does, is if everything people knew about me was fake. If I was to take the name of someone else I went to school with, and be able to forge everything to say that's who I was. So when I finally had enough money, I'd pull the ripcord and I'd do my damndest to run. But in this day and age, where everything is tied together and easily searchable; no way in hell could it be done.

Completely agreed. I don't think you would sleep well at night knowing that you're not contributing to the economy, nor are you doing a job that is held in high regards or has any sort of required skill set. Knowing my parents, they'd fucking disown me if they found out I made a living playing games.
