It's sort of like OPL here in that Peter desperately wants to find companionship purely on his own terms with an impossibly attractive woman who loves him unconditionally...without having to actually go out and find, then work up a relationship with a woman over the course of time. He wants satisfaction now and somehow he believes it's better to make people think he's got an impossibly hot wife already by way of elaborate sockpuppet operations and heavily edited or staged photos "proving" this woman exists, because then at least he already has jumped ahead to "achieving" the life he wants without having to do any of the work of being in an actual relationship with an actual woman.

That seems to reflect how I assume Peter to be; a man who is extremely insecure about his immature, attention-seeking behaviour yet sees it unnecessary to make effort to change in order to establish healthy relationships with others. Whether or not Asleigh is real, it seems she's nothing more to him than a way of deflecting criticism. No matter how many people claim he is a bad comedian, that he's trying too hard in his videos, that he created a sockpuppet Asian girlfriend etc., he always has the comeback of "well I'm married to a hot Star Wars nerd and have a kid, so I'm better than you!". Any accusation she possibly isn't real can just simply be justified as lonely nerds jealous they don't have a hot wife or aren't as hot as his wife, despite the fact that a lot of people would consider a woman docile enough to allow a guy in his 30s to spend his life on welfare making YouTube videos about internet memes to be pretty unattractive, no matter what she looks like.

If there's one thing I hope people take away from this, it's that no matter how much you feel inferior to others, you don't need to be in a relationship to prove your self-worth and be happy.

Something I just noticed about the "hospital" photo: the bath/shower combination in the picture shouldn't be very common in a healthcare setting. I work in healthcare and can't really say that I've seen a bath/shower combo like that, even in private rooms, of any of the hospitals in various parts of AZ. In general, hospitals are dissuaded from incorporating these types of fixtures into patient rooms because the lip of the bathtub greatly increases the risk of patient falls.

I don't have a ton of exposure to the maternity setting, but for the rest of the hospital, it seems a little "off".

I'm in nursing school right now and we do have sim labs in the university building. One would imagine a school building with a lab built to be identical to a hospital room would be slightly easier to break into than a hospital sub-section devoted to labs? You can walk right into my building, but you need to be with a class or have a key to get into the sim labs themselves. (And afaik you need a pass just to get into any non-visitor hospital section in my hospital, but yours may be different.)

If he managed to get himself into a sim lab to take photos with his doll and not get caught I'd be mighty impressed. Those things are kept locked up tight, and where would he have put the actual sim during the photos? The beds are always filled, since it's easier just to keep the "patients" nestled in their beds rather than move them about more than is absolutely necessary. So he'd have to get into the locked lab, unhook the real sim, put it somewhere without hurting it, get his doll in, take pics, get the real sim back in, rehook the real sim, and pull it all off with no one investigating why the dude no one recognizes is sniffing around the four-figure sims.

Of course, at this point, I'm not even sure what is real... so it's not out of the question the photos were taken in a sim lab? I just don't know how he'd pull it off. My brain hurts.

Yeah, It's the same over here. The weird holes in every possible explanation are pretty weird. My thought process was, he has an accquaintance or 'friend' who's a med student at that school, and he asked to shoot a video there, and since he's pretty YT famous the guy said yes and used their key card. That was just what I had in mind, but it would raise a whole 'nother set of questions, so yeah. Who knows?

They're sometimes like that in the psychiatric wards because some of the patients are in wheelchairs or otherwise can't be allowed to stand and shower for various reasons. I think the tub looked too big for that, though. I'll look at the photo again, but it might be a dorm room bathroom?

The only reason I can think of that he took a Vine with a baby instead of his 'wife' is because the baby can't communicate. If he's
watching the baby for whatever reason, or even just alone in a room with it for a few minutes, he can take that video, whatever the baby thinks (or rather doesn't). An adult woman would have to give her consent and play along, regardless of their relationship. So the baby is easier.

It looks like he took a pic of his own butt, and one of the doll with it's shirt held up, made a composite and used the arm to mask where they go together. The butt/belly features a pretty clear pixel line. Picture 2 doesn't rely show much. the face is an obvious shop to give it expression and something's not right about the shadows. he either shopped the doll face and hand onto another selfey of a real girl or shooped the doll onto the background. I can't quite tell. Picture three is the doll sitting in a chair with a wire infront of her with all the shit on the right of the frame shopped in from another picture. You can see a pretty clear pixel line going down the right of the shirt/boob. In four I think the paper that says "coffin" is real but "Harrison" is way to sharp for the pic, it's a brother/cousin's baby, IMO.

That makes sense. I noticed that the reflection of the Coffin paper also seems to say Coffin, so it makes sense that it's a relative's baby. Also explains why the face is hidden, because this baby does not look like derpy baby.

Shockingly quite a few, from what I have read the guy who started it all was a prop maker so it would not surprise me if a awful lot of the companies that make this also do stuff for the film industry and surgical cosmetic prosthetic fields.
