So yeah, I can see where you're coming from, and I get it you hate Tevin, but that still doesn't change the fact that DSP checks his ex's twitter on the regular. And again, it's good Tevin pointed that out to us because otherwise most people would have missed it and thought it was just a random rant. Defend DSP all you want, talk shit about Tevin all you want, but those are the facts.
The big difference between Tevin checking Panda's Instagram and DSP doing it is Tevin is a random person while DSP was her fiance. Also, last I checked checking out someone's PUBLIC social media site isn't stalking... Again, remember where you are. I mean you're on a site that has a thread dedicated to Leanna that people regularly post in.
I literally do not watch and have no opinion on Tevin (and that goes for on down the restreamer roster for that matter) outside of it's aparent, from the contextual clues I gather in this subforum, that he's obsessed with Phil. You taking that statement pejoratively says a lot. Please, proceed.
This is like complaining that the CWCki documents everything Chris-Chan has done and ever will do. It’s just keeping track of lore.
Are you suggesting OPL's documenters, wiki and subforum here, aren't obsessive over him? Because they are confirmed obsessive over him. "Cool autism," the punchline used to go for years in there about the phenomenon.
This seriously sounds like phil or someone sipping his kool aid. That piece of shit tervin doesn’t restream him anywhere close to every day.
Since I don't watch Tevin, (or use Twitter) I have no idea how often Tevin does, would you say it's more than half the time in your estimation? Less than half the time? Do the restreamers take days to divy up between each other to reduce the workload on themselves?
Not to mention restreaming is protected under the parody clause of Fair Use, thus its not illegal either.
Parenthetical around (totally illegal) implies a joke. Probably should have
bolded,
underlined and
italicized it for the defensive re-stream community population posting here to get it. Oops.
he has actively avoided games with romance development, it was the main reason he didn't play fire emblem this year, he looked into it, and said on stream "now I know why so many people want me to play fire emblem, it has relationships in it"
46/50 Judgment friends on his summer play through, those poor four lonely hostess missions....
Oh and the reason he is using Penne points is very simple, it's a psychological trick to get people who never tip into the habit of using a currency in streams.
They use a fake currency to get attention from the streamer and rewards (this is why people tip), then when this is taken away they are more likely to use actual money or bits because they see value in these things.
It's akin to a drug dealer giving free samples to kids, then taking them away when the people are addicted.
I agree with your overall point about viewer loyalty points, but would atribute the psychological warfare as being on behalf of Twitch's efforts more than any streamer, Phil included, to getting to the end result you're arguing for. Maybe your logic why Phil should take the blame for enacting a site-wide test roll out program is eluding me but it's a tenuous logic leap you're making on this here?
Under orders from
@mollymawk I have downloaded all of Dave's Tweets. Yes. All fucking 62,631 of them.

Another classic entry into the "Why I don't use Twitter" art gallery, every single time one of these gets posted. The best are when the lolcows post them on their own but this one is intriguing for the entry "ggBzagWN6M"?
DSP was essentially all in on Cyberpunk during his E3 review streams in the immediate aftermath of the announcement and the out of left field 180 degree turn he's taken on it is the most abrupt turn on a single game I can recall this last half of the year. Even Death Stranding he at least was neutral about until he got more information and gradually had to grudgingly admire the positives in it as he soured on the parts that ground his gears once he got his hands on it. His GTA replay this year did get some excusing of the dialog cursing in it with a handwave of 'it was a different era then,' but I guess this is going to be a point of contention about how he's matured over his streaming career maybe?
