Even still mint flavor doesn’t usually mix well with citrus at all. Astringent and minty flavors coming together specifically produces something that has a strong metallic taste in my experience.

Let's be real here, nobody is donating to his patreon for the comics, they're donating to keep him alive and to see what other places he gets banned from.
He will never make proper money off of Sonichu again, which is a shame since none of the fan merch captures his unique art style.

He also nuked his CWC Discord channel and its messages and put up a rule saying no Chris discussion allowed.
And later claimed on Twitter it was because some wéen group was pestering him to cover them in a video.
@Sterbenchu was paying him for potential comics access up until like a month ago.
Why would people donate to keep Chris alive? He's got the tugboat for that.

I worded that poorly. I assume most people donating are not dying to read the next issue, if they were could they not report his Patreon for not keeping up his end of the deal to update and ship comics? It seems like the patreon is less about Sonichu and more about just supporting his lifestyle. I'm now curious how much of his Patreon money comes from people who simply forgot they are supporters.

Strange. Chris originally wanted to take marketing for his college classes, but ended up taking CADD. My point is he could have used marketing to better utilize his Patreon.

I’m going to get hate for this but fuck it I don’t care that much, if Chris was still regularly releasing comics that I was laughing at and that had all the charm of the original Sonichu series I’d throw 5 bucks a month his way. I get real enjoyment out of shitty webcomics and art and always have and that’s never going to change, it makes me laugh. If he was consistently doing the comics - producing something I get some kind of joy from, 5 dollars a month is less than I pay for a pack of cigarettes a day.
I’ve never donated to his patreon or other ventures because of that exactly. He doesn’t produce content consistently anymore and without someone handling him it’s all just saccharine bullshit involving Christmas or Ponies (although the shit with Blake saying Chris had a nice rack was funny). But if he was still making crazy shot like in Sonichu 10 every week and I had to pay 5 a month to see it? Fuck yeah I’d throw him 5 a month. But I’m not going to give him 5 a month for pony cards, a comic about ponies and friendship, or the chance to roleplay with him. I want batshit insane comics with lots of spelling and grammar errors where entire cities are destroyed for making fun of a manchild, really bad art, and a vague message that’s supposed to be about morality but ends up being completely insane and perhaps contradictory. Chris is amazing when he’s motivated and has some kind of antagonist. Sadly I think the Valium, Tit Skits, and Delusions have completely destroyed what made Classic Chris so great and we won’t ever have that again.
What we do have is a sort of echo of who Chris used to be. When he does produce content its still content someone put into his head to make most of the time. A handful of the cards were funny. I personally just wish Chris would be well... classic Chris again and do the shit he used to do even if it was as a Troon. I doubt that will ever happen though unless somehow something gets under his skin he can’t excuse away with daydreaming and roleplaying. Then again I’d love for Chris to be normal and overcome all the obstacles life gives him but that’s probably not in the cards either.

Chris actually talked about this in one of the Mumble calls and it is due to the traditional couple idea he learned from media—that the guy should be the older of the two. He said it was because he ‘didn’t want to feel overtaken’ which is autist speak for wanting to date an equal age or younger woman because that’s what he learned.

About 2/3rds of it he hands to Barb for mortgage bills. He pays bills for things he wants while stiffing his debt creditors. Anything left over goes to toys. Anything extra his enablers give him also goes to toys. Since he never saves, when emergencies come up, he has to beg for the money to handle those.
Yeah, I think his remaining patrons don't look very closely at his output. Maybe they just tossed a $20 subscription at him one night after learning about him and then he just becomes one of the many patrons they support. Or like Sterbenchu was, they're too lazy to cancel their subscriptions and just figure he'll wander back to Patreon eventually.
