The girl had to go for a walk because she started getting loud, but that was the parents' decision, nobody complained about them. After the walk they came back in and the kid quietly ate her food. She's above the age COPPA caters too which is 13.
She actually does show what she wants she's nonverbal yes but the pushing away, hiding her face, hitting, etc. is all saying no. Its the parents duty to adhere to it. The father states they use ABA with her, so he should know how to read these things.

In regards to the prom its odd how it was done if the parents were there too. School systems try to make even those autisc programs normalized so you do see the same events as in regular schools. One I worked in had prom, socials, year trip, talent shows. The odd though though is the parents werent that much a part of it for the prom it was for the kids. We had 1:1 and generals for all the kids/adults going around.

I'm not sure his daughters age but she must be close to aging out. Schools only have to cater to them until 21. Then its private insurances and parental work.

When someone films their baby or cat and they recieve money, this is done without their consent but preserves their dignity. I don't want to defend Fathering Autism, I haven't watched enough of his videos to know if her dignity has been preserved or not.

This is why I stated it's "morally gray," her inability to consent is problematic, however so long as her dignity is preserved I can't condemn earning money through her. Even when crossing into morally gray territory, the financial and social burden that caring for a severely disabled person makes earning money through them generally justified (I say generally, because I'm not familiar with this family).

YouTube has suggested his videos to me a few times, and I can never watch them all the way through. They make me obscenely uncomfortable. I'm not really a 'think of the children' type, but there needs to be some way to stop this kind of shit. Children should not be responsible for carrying the brunt of their families existence, re.tarded ones especially. As far as I know, these kids who are the focus of these vlog channels aren't afforded the same kind of protection normal child actors (I don't even know what else to call them) would be.
