I mean, if public health authorities with the same priorities as Trump, who has delibrately blocked people from getting coronavirus testing, say that Flint water has only killed 14 people what choice do we have but to trust them?

A bit late but, it sounds like you have what I had a month ago.
I still have the metallic dry cough. It's so weird.
If you did get what I had. It's a 3 week bug and it sucks. Easy to spread and everyone in my area had it but there is no name for it.
I was stupid clean and careful and my coworkers still got it....I was in my own room in my own computer! No idea how it happned.

But the cough I feel is forever.... it does get better.

Can vouch. My company's VPN crapped the bed yesterday during the busiest part of the day. None of us could connect to the North American VPN. We had to go through the Frankfurt or Singapore server. Today they send out an email to only get on VPN if you have to and to only stay on as long as you have to. Well we all kind of have to so they better fucking figure something out.

Yes, which is why I know that article was posted in January of 2016, and has nothing to do with Trump. We're talking about how China is a Paper Tiger that just had its whiskers ripped off on the international stage and is desperately trying to pretend that it's a legitimate country that doesn't murder its own citizens for any available reason. Please try and stay on topic and please at least read the relevant dates when they're given to you rather than uselessly flailing about in some anti-Trump tirade, Wumao.

Am I the only one who is more annoyed than worried about this whole thing? This pandemic needs to either shit or get off the pot. If it ends up being a nothing burger in my state, I will have no choice but to leave a flaming bag of turds on the doorstep of the governor's mansion. If said isn't obliterated by all the people, small business owners who end up losing their jobs because of this.

It makes perfect sense. The roaving gangs of criminals will encourage people to stay in their homes. I for one applaud this out of the box, low cost solution to ensure people "shelter in place."
