Overseas Chinese need to be subjected to extra scrutiny after this. It's a myth they came here dirt-poor because they loved freedom and capitalism so much. They cannot be trusted. They occupy our universities, not to mention lots of valuable property in Canada and Australia. Cocaine Mitch McConnell's Chinkwife and all elite Chinkwives should be officially investigated and interned if need be, IMO.

How long until California starts demanding the rest of the country bring them food and iphones so they can continue their foreverquarantine? This is how you end up with scifi dystopias. Megacity 1 vs the great unwashed Farmer Hordes.
Well, we sent a bunch of ventilators to New York because we were so underwhelmed by corona, but it's such an uncontrollable disaster that we have to stay home forever. That should tell you something.

I would say they started a long time ago given that they all want to be commie fags who get free shit.

Poor Chinese can't afford to move overseas or send their kids to college in the west; they're too busy assembling iDildos and making cooking oil from the sewers. The Overseas Chinese are the ones who own the factories and occupy the party positions (or at least their parents do)

As soon as I saw how that's done I knew there's no way I would ever consent to something like that and would just have to wait until fast blood tests are available, assuming I ever need to get tested at all.
I had to get a similar test in 7th grade when I complained of a suddenly-sore throat. As awful as it was having along q-tip stuck down my mouth, I can't imagine how awful a covid-19 test through the nasal cavity has to be. :o

The Dems have made voting IDs a form of racism. We're legally not allowed to have that in some places.
Even in places where a state ID costs $10 or less, or is free for low-income or disabled people, Democrats still see it a form of racism/poll tax/whatever -- even though so many regular activities such as going to the doctor or cashing a check require photo ID. 🤷‍♂️

Crosspost from the Protests thread:
Have been surprised to hear of so little violence so far.
It might erupt in Michigan,
The day before the protest, it was made clear that any illegal behavior would result in arrest. I have to give huge credit to the protestors for behaving, especially since our protests have attracted other interest/activist groups seeking their share of the spotlight. The fact that the media could only report two minor incidents -- (1) someone with minor scratches when someone else grabbed their sign away, and (2) someone who thought it was a good idea to bring an axe, but voluntarily surrendering it when asked to do so by police -- was quite impressive. I can only hope that no matter how frustrated people get with Michigan's going on, they keep their protests peaceful and drive the media crazy not being able to report about the violent right wing.

Also noteworthy I’m hearing from “reliable sources” Georgia’s numbers of daily positive tests are the same or slightly diminished. But the number of daily negative tests has increased a full order of magnitude.
That certainly goes against the second wave reports the MSM is trying to spin in Georgia. Then again, people looking at nothing but raw numbers here freak out to see 1000 cases more than the day before and ignore the qualifier that the number includes cases not reported from the previous weekend or ignore the overall gradual downward trend.

Added: Seems like some retail workers are taking the brunt of people's refusal to wear masks. Just found this on MSN. Not cool.
That sucks, but it's happening more where masks are required or expected to be worn. Someone shared a story about going grocery shopping this week where a worker told someone masks were now required there. Said shopper pitched a fuss and claimed she had health issues that precluded mask wearing. Not knowing the full situation, it's hard to judge, but someone that immunocompromised should probably look into an alternative shopping method whether curbside pickup or having a relative/friend shop for them.

It's only a matter of time, I suspect. In today's address to the media, Michigan's Governor Whitmer -- when asked about the currently-projected budget deficit -- made it clear one of her first options will be to ask the Federal Government to help cover the shortfall. I'm not sure where she thinks they'll get the money from when Federal Tax revenues are also down and all 50 states will likely be holding their hands out waiting for Federal gibs to stabilize their budgets as well. As much as she's spreading doom and gloom over cuts to education, public safety and healthcare -- and as unpleasant as those may realistically be -- government agencies need to share in the pain ordinary citizens presently feel in having their budgets turned tospy-turvy thanks to having less or no money coming in during the lockdowns. Maybe then they'd understand why the Owosso Barber opened back up -- not as a political statement, but as a necessity after being turned down twice for unemployment and seemingly unable to get other financial assistance.
---
I forget what state this happened in, but supposedly another barber that opened up despite restrictions against it has now contracted COVID-19 and there's a mad scramble to identify whose hair he might have cut in the past two weeks.

If you have a phone that displays callers, should you be able to tell it's a contact tracer, such as COVID TEAM, block the number.
A lot of people already ignore calls showing unfamiliar numbers or a generic caller name due to telemarketers and other scammers using those type of numbers for their calls, even if it means they miss legitimate ones. Although Wikipedia is far from a reliable source, it's been opined there that contact tracing might use the same tactics debt collectors use in skip tracing. That's all the more reason to be suspicious of strange calls. And that doesn't even take into consideration the potential for fraudulent tracing calls that could be used for nefarious purposes such as robbing or cheating someone under the guise of needing to see them about a possible COVID-19 exposure.

Yeah they didn't even fucking tell me what they were going to do. I was just sitting in my car with the window down and the lady said "Close your eyes" and next think I know I have a thing stuck up my nose and my head hurts

At least I got a warning I guess! They explained what they were going to do before I got tested. It felt sort of like water going up my nose and it burned in my experience. I had to do it last week because my state's governor mandated all who work with people in assisted living homes get tested along with all the residents. We had 71 people tested and all of us are negative so far.

The test was not pleasant. I had a sinus headache most of last weekend afterward.

Even when I was active in the Political Autism Machine that was the DNC, nobody could coherently explain to me why requiring photo ID to vote was racist, and that was in the 1990s. We already have to show photo ID for buying cigarettes, booze, over-the-counter medications, and porn. You need it to open a bank account or apply for credit of any kind. Even the most bass-ackwards mentally-disabled cousin-fucker from the Ozarks could manage to get a fucking state ID with 30 minutes and a fucking trip to the right government building.

I have never, in the entirety of my existence, heard a single credible argument for why you shouldn't have an ID card to vote. That shit speaks volumes.

Fucking Poo-In-Loo Dalit class Indians have to present an ID, and somehow they manage it but according to Dems blacks can't. Really boggles the mind.

It's because requiring ID to vote means illegal immigrants can't vote. And that's racist because then illegals wouldn't be able to vote for Democrats.

LA is locked down forever now. It has no end date.
Do they want Trump to win California? Because that’s how you get Trump winning California.

Yeah, same. I mean I do get the argument about paying for an ID would be a poll tax, ok. Buying cigs and booze and driving is a privilege, voting is a right. But that doesn’t mean we don’t need IDs to vote, it means the ID should be free. Which means Dems should be focusing a LOT of attention on making voting IDs free. Legislation or activism that helps people obtain them. But I’ve never seen that, which is highly suspicious. When what you SAY you are arguing for and what you actually try to accomplish are different things...hmm. You know how libs get suspicious when pro-lifers seem to have no interest in preventing unwanted pregnancies by promoting contraception and lbr in the US the majority of these folks are not Catholic? Same energy.

Yesterday afternoon Brother DeSantis made phase 1 statewide (so including Miami and WPB) and let gyms reopen at 75% capacity. Trends are I guess looking good in Georgia and Florida both. So, perhaps one more week and we’ll get some phase 2 hope.

IIRC, state IDs can be free in some instances. I think in major cities if you can't afford one they can get you one for free.

I’m sure there are random programs in random places. But you do not hear Democrats agitating to make this public policy. And it would seem to be the logical policy to pursue, if your concern is that no American eligible to vote is prevented from doing so, rather than that even if all eligible voters have picture IDs you still don’t like it. Why wouldn’t you like it? What part of all eligible voters must have ID and it is free is not to like? Suspicious. And I am a Democrat.

And the $5 isn’t the point, it’s the idea of a poll tax, which is illegal. So overcome *that* part, not the part that also enforces legality, ie proving the person voting is eligible to vote in that place and that election. It is so easy and reasonable to agitate for a both sides happy solution...if what makes them unhappy is what they claim makes them unhappy, and isn’t just cover for their actual agenda.

If I were a Democrat, I'd be active in trying to get state IDs subsidized and free so that anyone can get them. You'd think with all of the free shit the left wants from the government, a $10 state ID would be the most reasonable and pragmatic to try to push on local congresspeople as a priority.

The more I think about it, I think realistically the reason why no Dems are pushing for free IDs is because that would mean they support the idea of photo IDs for voting, which is mainly a Republican thing, and they don't want the stigma behind it. Even though voter fraud shouldn't be a partisan issue, in this current political climate people are so tribalist that they wouldn't want to support something that their enemies promote.
