I think Amber will be all right, given time and help now that Nick's no longer a threat. Kids are much more survivable than most people think, and they can deal with most of the same emotional problems adults can, given time. Take it from someone who works with them daily on this. Can I just ask how any kind of forensic investigation of his computer/other devices might affect this case?
Because the 'anal sex attack' video is out there, as is the shit wanking video (Christ, I hate myself for just having to type that, let alone realising that's not an exaggeration), so would that just act as further evidence to condemn him or would that open up other charges?
After all, all the stuff I just mentioned is out there in public, god only knows what foul things he has on his computer

I'm afraid I don't practice in Nick's jurisdiction and so can only really give very broad pointers- rules on evidence and procedure vary considerably between jurisdiction ad often within jurisdictions where rape concerned. Whether the local prosecution continues to gather evidence after charging or if they gather first and then charge i don't know.

Broadly speaking anything where he admits to abuse or to wanting to be abusive is likely to be admissible. In practice cases like this, regardless of jurisdiction boil down to lawyers arguing over what can and can't be admitted as evidence under their local rules. The defender will seek to reduce a case like this to he said/ she said but there is no proof. This is what makes rape cases so hard because often there is no evidence per se, beyond a persons word; to deal with this the rules for evidence are generally slightly relaxed for rape. The defender however can still point out why these relaxed rules are not normally acceptable which can be a powerful argument to an indecisive jury.

These can however help a good prosecution- there is this thing called the moorov doctrine where in sexual crimes similiar accusations or convictions can act as evidence against the accused. If they were to find CP on his computer this would fit here.


This is why a competent prosecution is so important. the shitwank video is no good as to evidence of his character as that is generally inadmissible by prosecution but it might(depending on local rules) be capable of helping establish motive as to him being capable of gross sexual deviancy. being able to fit your evidence into an admissible category, while persuading the court to reject that of your opponent is a big part of being a successful criminal lawyer on both sides of the floor- far more than clever legal arguments.

Ultimately the evidence is what normally convinces a jury- exceptionally persuasive orators are rare and cost more than nick can afford. A weak or incompetent prosecutor could however lead to evidence being overlooked or discounted and this is really the only hope Nick has.

Actually, the death penalty is legal in Pennsylvannia. So there is hope!

The only problem with the death penalty is that it would be way too fast and not enough torture for Sick Nick. Sick Nick truly deserves a slow and incredibly painful death as seen in Poker Night at the Inventory.

Say what you will about what Sick Nick deserves, but at the end of the day, I'm not so sure it's going to happen.

Remember that when you say "anyone likely to harm Nick" you mean basically anyone. Any other human is likely to try to harm Nick.

What they will do to protect him from the beating-to-death he deserves will amount to solitary for life.

Even other child molesters will detest him. He will be the lowest of the low.

So I won't lose any sleep over the idea that Nick won't get beaten to death. What he's going to live through is going to be as bad as anything anyone ever could without actually dying. And he deserves every bit of it.

I was in a Skype call when I first heard the news of Sick Nick's arrest. I promptly began excitedly talking about how happy I am that Nick Bate is FINALLY getting what he deserves, and then went on to explain the things he had done and why he's fucked up. My friends were disturbed, needless to say.
