At least your tablet didn't spaz out and zoom in on that shit.Spoiler that shit, it triggered me and now I have PTSD
That guy who got famous for his stunt of pretending his kid got lost in a weather balloon? And now he's making his kids into "the youngest metal band ever"?
It's because Brianna's idea of what women are is essentially a teenage girl. Maybe this is her version of a mid-life crisis? She often seems like she wants to be a young girl rather than a professional woman in her mid-30s.
tbh, i'm surprised SJWs don't all just claim to be gamers
they love to appropriate cultures that have faced problems in the past.
they could be going
IM A GAMER TOO, I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE FOR PEOPLE TO LOOK DOWN ON ME CHECK YOUR MOVIE LOVER PRIVLIJ
Wu should file a report with law enforcement, and should report fraudulent charges to her card issuer. All Valve can do right away is to block use of her card on their systems and issue a chargeback to the card. Law enforcement can reach out to Valve for information necessary to locate and prosecute the miscreants. Wu is not Detective Wu. She is not Bat Wu. She should quit being a Twitter twat, and should instead go through normal and sensible channels. But that wouldn't win her persecution points, and I doubt very much she'll even bother involving law enforcement. The problem with reporting stuff to the police is that they file official records and will arrest you if you file false reports. Possibly also another reason why the mountain of harassment received by Wu and Sarkeesian either go unreported or are dismissed as being no serious threat.
For her own sake I hope she doesn't issue a chargeback on her side of things. I've seen enough threads on thegoodold Steam forums to know that can only end in tears.
I'M WORKING ON IT.

I'm pretty sure shittweeting isn't part of the "exact legal process" one goes through in these situations, but maybe someone from our crack legal team could clarify? The transplaining here is sickening.
Not sure if I'm coming in a little late, but I wanted to explain the 52% of gamers are female thing. If girls make up 5200% of video games then why is there still sexism? Checkmate feminists
I love how they all grew lava red hair as soon as they signed up for gender studies. The 52% statistic is also inaccurate. It includes also people who played something years ago and don't play anymore. Even if it were accurate, only a fringe minority like Wu and her fellow loonies constantly complain about things that they wouldn't buy anyways. Wu, Quinn and Sarkeesian are basically like this:

No shock there that a bunch of people who failed to make it in real journalism or even movie/literature journalism would push out some statistic that makes them feel a bit better about re-writing press releases all day.Kotaku and the Gamer Journos Pro list latched onto the number and began spreading it far and wide, without explaining how flawed and general the study was.
I miss the Nintendo Power era. Not because it was good or unbiased journalism, but because all we wanted to talk about was pokemans and mario karts and not soggy-knees and shit.No shock there that a bunch of people who failed to make it in real journalism or even movie/literature journalism would push out some statistic that makes them feel a bit better about re-writing press releases all day.
In fact both sides of writing in the industry: plot writers and those who write about games seem to be crammed full of people who just couldn't make it anywhere else, but the barrier of entry is lower in gaming so resent their audience for it.

1. Time for another vid to laugh at, kiwis.
Brianna only shows up around the 11:40 mark. Some of her facial expressions in that vid are pretty creepy:
Brianna Wu says in the video she has decided to stop publicly shaming others, having now realized this is the wrong way to deal with injustice. I wonder how much of her decision actually has to do with a genuine change of heart rather than a concern for her image. Among the people she tried to shame in the past are a writer for Ubisoft and a game designer who worked on WoW; I'm sure that these type of shenanigans did not help Wu get ahead in the gaming industry.
Surprisinlgy enough, the name GamerGate was not mentioned once during the section of the video in which Brianna appeared (I don't know whether or not it was mentioned in the previous ten minutes). I have to wonder if this is due to Brianna wanting to move away from this whole affair, or due to CBC not wanting to be bombarded with complaints about biased coverage, something they had to deal with in the previous times they covered GG.

Those pics are not only among Wu's most maniacal, but also some of the most mannish looking photos I've seen of her yet. If anything, these candid photos of her show just how much work she puts into getting the proper elements down for her own pics where she at least looks somewhat feminine.Brianna only shows up around the 11:40 mark.
